That shoot out was terrifying! Wasn't expecting that at all. I was sort of waiting for Deb's house to blow up or something.
Seems like almost everyone has been rounded up. Just not the worst of them unfortuately. Now I know that Justin and hopefully Jules will inevitably be ok, but man alive, talk about stress! How did those bitches get them when half the PD was in the bank. Talk about brazen! At least Sheila is folowing so they know where they are being taken. who all is left that hasn't been nabbed yet?
Joan and Claire, selfish C-words, but can I also say...really REALLY stupid! I mean admit to paying to have Brian murdered. dumb dumb dumb. Poor Brian though to have to have heard that. Awful!
Do you think michael actually heard Brian? Naaaa, me neither. ;) Hopefully nobody falls for his, what was it..."dewy-eyed innocent" game. Thee's enough shit against him though that it wouldn't play out. He's going down! couldn't happen to a better asshole. I guess everything he spoke to David about didn't stick. The need for money, the need for Brian...it's like a disease for him. an addiction.

Thank you for reaching out! I am so amazed at your compliments to my work and do not take them lightly or for granted! I am actually in the process of closing out Volume II but admittedly, it's slow going. I wasn't entirely happy with the direction the last chapter was taking so I decided to start it again from the beginning. I get like that sometimes and I know it tends to drive my beta a little crazy. I guess you can say that I'm neurotic in that it's never quite perfect enough for me to be satisfied. Since it's the most action packed of the entire series, I want it to be perfect. As such, I won't release anything I can't stand behind 100%. This was one of my very first 'babies' and I just want to give it all that it deserves. I will be sad to see it end but I absolutely promise it will be finished though. In fact, I was working on it when I just received this notification.
In the meantime, I am also working on all the other updates. I tend to jump back and forth alot so that I'm never stuck. I'm fortunate that writers block doesn't hit me like most people, where I can't write at all. My version always results in a new story. If it keeps you all entertained by my work, I can sure live with that!

Thanks so much for joining in this journey with me, Kathleen! The last chapter is a a doozy to write and I want to do it justice which is why it has been taking me so long to finish. That and a little melancholia to see the end of this particular verse. The TU verse was my first foray into writing fanfic. I'm so happy that it is being enjoyed despite the fact that I have to go in and do some minor editing on the back end for tense issues. It will definitely be my pleasure to revisit this all over again once I click the 'complete' button. This story and it's prequel (if you can call it that LOL) are a series of highs and lows; twists and turns; curveballs and homeruns and an absolute joy to write!

Hey Kathleen! I hope that you are continuing to enjoy Volume II! Chapter 22 was HUGE!! LOL In reference to your question, Lindsay didn't have room for Michael/ Ben to stay with her. Although the house is fairly large, it is still on the smaller scale compared to Britin. Currently staying with Lindsay is Gus, Mel, Jenny and Colby so that makes it a full house. Although Daphne can't stand Michael, she does love Ben, Deb and Carl and out of respect and compassion for them, she's willing to let the turd stay within her house since staying at Britin is certainly NOT an option.

That was one hell of a chapter! I expected Ethan to be the one punched out, but Michael so deserved it. I am a little worried that Justin might not forgive Brian for standing up for Michael. After all he did promise to always defend Justin and never to take Michael's side again. I understand that he wanted to keep the peace, and stop the violence. But if I was Justin I'd be more than angry and hurt that Brian didn't if not physically, at least verbally put Michael in his place. And it had to hurt to see Brian once again cave to Michael's emotions, making excuses (Drunk, Angry, Jealous) letting him off the hook for his actions...

I know I just started this chapter but I have to comment. What The Fuck! I really don't understand this Justin. He really wants to sabotage his relationship with Brian even before it starts. I know they've reinstated the rules but, Really?
What about the whole honesty thing Justin insisted on? Which by the way I didn't quite understand because Brian is always honest, even to a fault.
I knew that Jason was going to be a problem. Justin should have followed his gut, and avoided Jason since he didn't really want to see him to begin with. So why did he spend his free time with him, and stay at his house?
Now he runs away again to the backroom instead of facing Brian. Which of course is going to open a whole new set of problems with the house guests, and then there's Michael...
Why not put Lindsay and Gus up at the loft, or a hotel? Justin's only been home less than a week. So much for the honeymoon, my guess it they won't make it 30,days, let a lone 90...
You're right about all the drama and I'm afraid neither Brian or Justin is going to win in the end.
Okay back to the beginning of the chapter, maybe you'll surprise me. Fingers crossed...

I promise it will be well worth all the emotions. There are quite a few subplots at work in this fic as well. Let's just say, where Justin's logic might seem a bit skewed, he definitely has reasons for them. Being with Brian IS what he wants but not all the human baggage that comes with him. Understandably he's afraid that if he goes all in again, a certain someone will try to sabotage them again. He's going on experience being the best teacher and we all have to admit that Michael's machinations really did a number on him. Add the fact that he's not really sure of Lindsay's original motives and a whole lot of trust issues ensue.
