So happy to read that Mel heard the conspiracy and was able to get Gus out of the house.

And Leda is back... Mel and her are good together; they seem to like the same things. Beautiful couple.

I quite literally feel scik to my stomach. Lindsey's machinations...her complete betrayl is unbelievable. What I don't get, is that she seems to really belive what she's saying. That she really thinks Brian will marry her, that she could actually convice him to drop work to please her. Her sense of entitlements is mind boggling! and that she can so easily be bought........I hope Brian is able to call the clinic in time. How much more will she do, how far will she go to get what she wants. I wonder what's really driving her sometimes. Is it actually her desire for Brian, or is it the life she seems to think she's entitled to or is it simply teh approval of her father/parents.

what's to happen with Micheal. will he fall in line with Brandon and Connor, or will they go to far in just one night and cause Micheal harm? Will they "woo" him to joining forces? How far will he go?

So much angst and intrigue!! 

Thrilled that B&J are legally joined! Thrilled that Mel is a part of teh group and that Gus is safe.

Much adventure to come and can't wait!

Hey my Darling Elaine!!! Hope the move went well! I hate moving more than words can ever say! SMH 

Now for your review: Lindsay is a straight up BITCH in this fic. She is vicious and has a boundary problem in the worse way. Her reason for that is two-fold. First, she is truly her parents' offspring (that will be explained by Ron in the next chapter). She is not used to being told 'NO' and when she employs other tactics to get her way and they usually work. Sadly her second reason is because she DOES believe that everything she is doing will lead to her goals being met. She believes wholeheartedly that if she thinks therefore she is.... in other words she believes that she is the yang to Brian's ying; his equal in every way that matters and the perfect spouse for him because of her upbringing and social connections which she'll regain once she's married to a successful man who would fit in with the WASP nest. Since Brian has grown used to the finer things in life, it stands to reason that he is ready to take his place at her side. In reality- well within the context of this fanfic- she thinks she's a bitch, therefore is a Bitch but her ultimate goal is to be a Rich Bitch like her mom and sister before her. We'll see if her rationale works for her.

We will see the inner workings of Michael's brain and motivations in the next chapter along with a few of the others, including Ethan (let's not forget that he's still lurking in Pittsburgh too). I will say that his time spent with Brandon did leave quite the impression on him. Needless to say that he will NOT be happy with the current state of affairs between Brian and Justin.

This was an awesome chapter! I'm so glad that Mel overheard the devious plan and immediately took gus away. Lindsay is a piece of work...pure evil...and Michael, we'll, he's just a moron plain and simple. Anxiously awaiting your next update!

Hey Laura! Thank you for the compliment of my work! It is more appreciated than I can ever say. Mel has been surprising me from the moment I started writing this fic. And it works that Lindsay underestimates her and that she is almost discounting Mel's friendship with Brian. Hell, Mel and Brian even underestimate how tight they have become down through the years.

Lindsay IS pure evil here! Someone would tell her that she's a cold, calculating bitch and she would say 'Why yes I am. Nice of you to notice.' On one hand she makes me angry but in the same breath it's absolutely fun to write her this way. It's rare that I get to play around with a character that knows right from wrong but doesn't give a damn about boundaries. It will definitely be fun to see where she ends up at the end of this story.

As for Michael, he's his usual moronic self but he's also desperate in ways that makes him dangerous to Justin and therefore Brian. The next update, we'll take a look into everyone's mind and their interactions with those around them. It will be part 2 to "A Call to Charm."

Thank goodness their all so arrogant they didn't go to some secret lair to discuss their evil plans and Mel was able to hear it, they all need to get exactly what they deserve and Lindsay doesn't need to bring another innocent victim into her ugly evil games.

Michael is a playing games with dangerous people who hold all the cards and he is not going to like the hand he gets dealt if he doesn't listen to Brian.

This story is so riveting I can't wait to find out what happens next :)

Hey ECH!! The saying: "Pride goeth before a fall" definitely applied here. The Satanic Square as I've taken to calling Lindsay, Ron, Craig and Connor are definitely arrogant and certain of victory each in their own rights. Next chapter will have an in depth look into each of their motivations as well as Michael's and the others. I'm so glad that although updates are slow coming due to my other WIPs and writing outside of the fandom, you are still vested in this trip of trouble!

WOW!! Sorry this is so late. I've been moving. I only just read this.

I've been looking forward to getting an update on this one. Weel,,,any update on any of yours stories is a treat in all honesty. I'm always thrilled no matter which one it is.

so much is happening. Brandon and Connor I hope are going to get a swift and permanent end. As much as I adore all the angst, I hope that B&J are able to keep it together and put a stop to all the shitheads around them. they hav e  aterrific support network, so I'm sure, while there will be bumps along teh way, they will be all good. someone will be there to talk sense into one or the other if and when needed.

Will Craig be onboard with teh revenge idea? Obviously he will want to...his anger and hatred runs deep. Will he be too fearful of teh possible ramifications though or will his need for revenge out weigh it. I know adn LOVe your hatred for Craig, so whatever you have him doing, his eventual demise will be eventful. I love reading about his downfalls. lol. Not death, cause that's too easy and let's face it....nobody will miss him, but jail time,,,,and all that goes with hit...yup! :)

Micheal....wht can I say about Micheal that hasn't already been said. emmett tried. He was a blunt and straight forward as he could possibly be, Nothing seems to get through to the guy. and now that Brandon and connor are going to get involved.........oh shit....it's going to get bad. And dear lordy...really??!?! Gus?!?! Justin and Brian will kill anyone who even tries to get near the boy.

Man o man...so much ahppening. So much going to happen. a real thrill ride. That's what  love about your stories. Each chapter is such a treat. a real roller coster ride.

So happy to see another chapter posted I just had to do a happy dance before I started reading. Michael walking into a situation with blinders on?...What A Shock! I do think bringing Mel in is actually a good idea it will hopefully keep them ten steps ahead of Lindsay especially if they can feed her some false information Michael is going  blow a gasket when he finds out Brian and Justin are married, I can't wait to see everyone associated with Conner and Brandon James taken down especially Craig. Looking forward to the next chapter, got my happy dance already lol 😀

Hey YumYum! First, thank you so much for all the reviews. I am so happy that you had an even better time re-reading this.

I love writing the Ted-Brian-Emmett dynamic. I continue to think that they would have made better friends in Brian's adulthood as opposed to that childish man-child, Michael. Even as a 'Harberdashery to Disco Trash' Emmett was more professional and true to himself than Michael. He always had ambition and like Ted and Brian would have been successful at whatever he put his mind to. Sometimes childhood friends are meant to remain just that...CHILDHOOD friends. Brian, Ted and Em are real grown-ups instead of just boys with man-sized parts.

LOL! Leda and Cyn surprised EVERYBODY! William wasn't able to get his replacement Birth Certificate in time nor does he have a passport which was fortuitous for the crew in Aruba. He really is a pain in the ass. He and Michael will definitely have business but how far it will go is anyone's guess.

Mel has had the benefit of getting to know Brian for herself without Lindsay's interference. But she now has her own struggles to face and Brian may be the only one who can help her. Time will tell in that corner.

We'll find out Justin's answer in the next few chapters. Brian will have to do a lot of convincing on his part and they each have to weigh the pros and cons of such a decision.
