OH man alive! That was intense! I was trying to wrap my head around Justin doing what they all accused him of. There had to be a reason. I even considered the idea of what you wrote, but a little further in, I was really questioning it. John...wow, that freaked me out! So glad their ultimate plan went off without a hitch. shame though that the family is left with their bitter feelings towards Justin. I get why they did it though.
this was a fic that came out of the blue! So different. I love reading a new idea in a story.

They need Gus to visit them on his own, not with any of the gang. They wanted him to grow up a little more before he found out the reason Justin couldn't go back to the States.

He never said anything about Gus never coming to see him, just that he was done with the U.S. He's trying to start a new life, Gus will always be a part of that but he couldn't risk telling Gus during the trlal or before he left. Brian wanted to get a little more time and distance between the murder.

WOW! Great writing! I wonder if they will ever tell Gus (and maybe Ted and Em) the entire truth. I suppose the only one that at least knows a portion of it is Mel and it doesn't sound like she's still in touch with the folks of Liberty. John deserved what he got! I always thought he had the potential to be a psychopath if he didn't get straightened out. As for Michael and Lindsay, like Justin, I am happy that they have been left behind. There is definitely no love loss for them from me.

Gus for sure, probably not Ted or Emmett, too risky. John was a complete psycho. I watched his episode last night when I was writing, it was easy to write him being nuts as an adult. LOL, Michael and Lindsay were part of Brian's old life. I usually don't write anti-Michael or anti-Lindsay things but I felt it was right. I hope that's okay. Thank you for reviewing.
