Read all ten chapters and I am really enjoying this story:)
Now the Review:
I think Brian was wrong to gloss over what Michael said (The writers did it on the show too which pissed me off!!)and take the blame from the Family as usual, you don't say something that hateful and hurtful unless you mean it.
That is the whole problem in a nutshell as long as they could all excuse it by saying: 'Michael didn't mean it, his mouth just runs off' they could continue to believe Michael was the nice one and Brian is the Bastard, it just allowed Michael to get away with saying and doing whatever he wants because he has a Get Out of Jail Free Card that never expires.
It also excuses Debbie for giving into to his childish behavior and her continued need to ignore his snide,snarky rude comments, Michael treats her and everyone else like Shit but still he is her precious baby boy who can do no wrong.
You two don't get to be involved in everyone else's lives but hold onto your privacy with an iron fist.
Debbie and Michael deserve a dose of their own medicine so they can understand the meaning of boundaries or they will continue to run roughshod over everyone.
This isn't a family it is a Dictatorship! :(

Things are speeding up on the baby front. Michael wants to be told everything but doesn't seem to think he needs to tell other people what he plans. Then he has to call his mommy. Ben was as plain as he could be, but I'm not sure Michael got it. Great chapter.

I am having a hard time with this story, you have made me hate Mel more than I did when the show was on, and now I have to root for her and Justin having a baby!?!
Thank God for good old reliable Michael😀, just as self-centered as always. He is lucky they let him into the house. I cannot wait for Deb's reaction. Thanks to Michael it shouldn't be long now.

Everything is on plan, except for Michael. I guess Ben will be doing a lot of kissing just to shut him up. I'm liking how everyone is getting along except the clueless one. Makes for a very interesting story.

So I'm not actually hating Michael in this one. I'd say more....really irritated. (so far) Nice to see Lindsey and Mel in better shape, both of them seeing the reality of things. As much as Lindsey feels she should be able to voice her opinion, at this point there's no malicious intent. No real selfish gain. she's just used to giving Brian her opinion and assumes she should continue to do so. Mel shared her thoughts and they both communicated well. Lindsey seems more apt to listen and catch the innuendos. Hopefully for her, Mel and the kid's sake, this continues.
Michael so far is much the same. His opinion matters. He's behaving very selfishly, but again, so far, without any real malicious intent. He's presumptuous. thinking he can just show up at M&L's house early without any call. He just thinks he's right. He thinks his opinion matters. The thing is, nobody is really stopping him. they all complain to each other, but don't tell Michael so bloody well stop with the emails.
Not sure how quickly he's going to learn his lessons. He wants things his way period. Not sure how long it's going to take before he starts really pushing and what the others will put up with before they push back. What will his reaction really be about this next child and Justin being the father??

Michael is such a selfish and self-centered Magoo!! Lindsay and Brian were good because his little "Jump the Gun" ass would still be waiting for us to return home. Hell I would even rent a hotel room for the night so that I wouldn't have to go home until I was good and damn ready. And now that he is there, he just expects plans to be changed to accommodate him?! Oh NO Sir! I really hope none- NARY ONE- of them give into Michael's demand for attention!

I really hope that Lindsay heeds Mel's counsel regarding Brian and Justin's relationship and NOT jump on The Twit Train with Michael and Deb. I certainly hope there will be several golden "Sit the F*ck Down" chairs delievered to Michael throughout. Even Ben is telling him that their situation is NOT for everyone else. Somehow the cinderblock in Michael's head doesn't let any useful advice, information or common sense through; just the gerbil with his egocentric motivations are which run amuck on the wheel of self-importance and idiocy. Someone please find those 'seats' soon!
