Lindsey and Michael are about as audacious as anyone can get. The sense of entitlement is mind boggling. To think they have any rights to Brian is unbelievable! I mean really. I seriously snorted when Michael made his comment about him being more important that Justin.I can't even imagine what they will try to do. At least Lindsey understands the fine line she's walking. She knows how much influence Justin has and just what he's capable of. Seems though that with all her attempts at manipulating and pushing Brian, she's letting her responsibilies with Gus and Jenny slide. Not going to look good in any court proceedings. Something that I'm sure Daph will home in on and use to her advantage.
Emmmmmmetttttt! Oh thankfully he's slowly but surely realized what an ass Calvin is. The fact that he wants to hang out with Ben and Michael should say enough. (btw...how is Ben going to feel about everything. Hmmm curious) I cheered when Emmett kicked him out. Even happier when he called Ted. He'll go the party on the weekend and meet Drew, Justin, see the kids. I'm so happy. I only hope that Calvin is now gone, or will at least SOON be gone permanently. He can go hang out with Michael.

Gus is as angel! I'm sure he will survive this but I worry about the emotional cost. I also worry for Jenny.
Mel finally has a sense of who the enemy really is and I am so happy she's afraid. Linds and Mikey are self centered and obtuse. Their"best friend" was married and had kids and never told them, their first thought should be what have I done. Instead they plot to take Brian's happiness. I can't wait for them to show their butts and get their due.
Drew is here to rescue sweet Em, gosh I hope so. Emmett is special to me, his storylines were the best aside from B/J imho. I like him happy. And, I love sober touch Ted.
As for Brian and Justin, it's time to put on matching Prada shi$$ kicking boots. And I can't wait for Daphney to school Mel.

Heart is hurting for poor Gus. Having to deal with the 2 witch bitches is too much for a 13 year old to have to deal with. He should be enjoying being a kid, not stressing out over his 2 mom's. Thankful he has his 2 dad's to look out for him.
Neat twist that Drew is Justin's cousin. I get the impression that Emmett's flame may start burning a little bit brighter once these 2 meet.
The 2 she-bitches are unbelievable. Mel blames Brian for, well everything, adn wants nothing more than to discredit him at every turn. Lindsey blames Mel for not being able to live up the the standars she expects. Typical "rich bitch" attitude, one who has been given averything and has never worked for anything, has never been taught to appreciate.
Deb is going to be a rock for our 2 boys. she called it right. Mel lit a connon that's going to leave them bloody and broken and personally, I can't wait to watch it happen. :) Call me sadistic, but those 3 need to learn a very big lesson!! They are going to lose BIG!

Justin is the freaking MAN!!! Lindsay AIN'T READY!!! I think I especially enjoyed her reaction when Mel mentioned Brian and Justin's other children. Yeah Trick....YOU AIN'T SPECIAL!! Trying to look down her WASPY nose at a man who could buy and sell her fool ass and her parents 8000 times over and still have pocket change...LOL And if she thinks Brian is going to bow to her wishes, she needs to see someone about those delusions of grandeur she's been allowed to indulge for far too long! I think Justin will take care of that though... and Daphne! Now THAT is who Mel isn't ready for!!
Soooo Mel took Deb's advice and looked up her enemy and now is fearful of what she's found. GOOD!! As for that uppity blonde she married, I'll bet she's just about ready to sink into the floor. 'So he's from a rich family. I am too.' HAHAHAHAHA! I nearly died when Lindsay tried to compare Justin's lineage to her own. The funny thing is that even though Justin has his own inheritance, he's also increased his wealth whereas her Bitchass is just BROKE and trying to use Brian and Gus as cash bulls. And I think the icing on this here cake is that Lindsay stands to lose her job because there is NO WAY that Justin would ever do anything to help her. Sadly that extends to Sydney but perhaps Justin will buy his gallery so that he can retire in style and hire an actual staff to run it while Lindsay goes to off to sulk and sit her ass down somewhere. I'm just happy right this second that the discovery of just WHO Brian's husband is has taken the wind out of their sails for the interim. It's going to be fun to watch them scramble like roaches to cover the Pandora's box they just opened!
Then we have the idiot man thinking that Brian owes him and Lindsay an explanation for living his own life without their permission. MITCH have a seat! Justin's POV. Very refreshing. I love the ease that our 2 boys went into this relatioship. It was natural...kismit maybe. It was like they both new right off the bat.
Glad that Ted and Blake are able to give Justin the right perspective. Information only without any undue influence. Nice that going forward that blake and Justin are able to develop a good friendship. Ted has to play the game almost as much as Brian does. Blake and Justin are able to be on the same level in that sense.
Loved how B&J were able to be therer for Gus, were able to let him know that he was just as important as ever, and if nothing else, he had another person to love him. I know they will have a very tight bond. The fact that he already loves B&J's 2 kids shows just how mature he is for a kid. How much he loves B&J, plus the fact he keeps their secret.
What's Mel up to about the Insurance? why is she looking into it suddenly. what is she hiding? How nefarious is she in this?
So shit is about to hit the fan now. They had those 5 years to grow together and develop a really strong realtionship. They, as a couple will be fine. (that's what i like about your fics, they are a strong couple) Together, as well as with the support of their real friends and family will be able to power through whatever shit the others throw at them. A tiny part of me alsmost wants to feel sorry for what ever those 3 go through, but then I shake my head and think "naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" their going to deserve avery peice of shit the get.

VERY excited to see the start of a new fic! You are a writing machine! Am so grateful to be on the receiving end. I love being able to take a little bit of time out of my day to soak up a new chapter in one of yoru stories. It's always a time I look forward to.
This new one looks like it's going to be a very fun read! There are so many of us who are sluts for anti-Michael/Lindsey/Mel etc., however you choose to portray them.
I really like how you've started it. Brian is already looking for something more meaningful. He's already matured, and Justin isn't an innocent either. Both are at a point where they know what they want, and are willing to work for it together. None of the angst we see in canon. I like this idea. Now it's just the crap from the others; Michael, Lindsey and Mel. I like how they've had 5 years to become a very strong couple; that Justin is fully aware of what those 3 are like, and quite possibly what to expect. They are solid, so the shit those 3 try to pull won't be as effective as they hope. they don't have the influence over Brian that they want, they won't be able to manipulate Justin as he's already has strength of character. Yup...I get the impression there will be a lot of shenanigans in this fic and I can't wait.
I LOVE how Ted is Brian's confidant and that Deb is on his side as well, Jen and Molly as well. With this kind of support network, the threesome don't stand a chance.
Am obviously concerned about Emmett's relationship with Calvin. I hope that Emmett's real friends are able to help him. Emmett at this point, like Brian said, needs to get his flame going again. I think though that his friends also need to make him see that this Calvin guy is no good. Something needs to happen so that Emmett ignites once again. HmmmmmmmI wonder if Justin will have a hand in that? :)
It seems Michael isn't the devoted Dad to Jenny in this one as we've previously seem. I guess Mel got her wish, yet they both expect Brian give them $$ hand over fist. He's put his foot down already, early on and looks like he isn't going to be manipulated.
So far so fabulous!! Off to ready chapter 2, but wanted to say how thrilled I have that you are such a prolific writer!! I so enjoy these.

All I can say after reading that chapter is: Bring It!!
Justin isn't a scared teenager they are going to have to deal with a grown man with lots of resources who can sling it without getting any dirt on his shoes.
So they better be packing something more than attitude, snarkiness and their petty jealousy, you can get in a few cuts but he will rip you apart if you hurt his family.
Brian is strong enough now to take on all three of them so let them come with their worst, hope they are prepared to have it slung back at them with the force of a tornado.
