Ryder is so sweet he is willing to do anything so Jenny knows she is loved, even offering to buy a house so they could all live together (Ben you are so moving in!! lol) and Jenny can have peace away from Lindsay.
Mel is trying but she has to try harder and really listen to Gus and Jenny, using work as an excuse is tired and selfish which she can't be anymore.
If Gus is going to give her a chance she has to stop using Brian as a scapegoat and let Lindsay go her own way.
Brian found his happiness and he is not letting anyone take that away from him, he is going to fight tooth and nail to make sure his family is safe from Michael and Lindsay.
Only this time he doesn't have to carry that burden alone he has Justin and some wonderful people in his life now who will stand by him to shoulder the expectations of two people who have never really grown up.
The next chapter will be very interesting:)

So I went back and re-read this in it's entirety last night. I admit that I had almost come to the conclusion that Mel was up to something. That her recent attempt at reconciliation with the kids was some sort of ploy. I think though, that after reading this chapter, I can believe in her sincerity. That she really does want this, and there's no malicious intent involved. Daphne isn't going to give her any chances anyway and of course, neither will Justin. Mel I think is finally going to start being honest with herself now, and is realizing that Brian is not the enemy. I am glad that she realized what Daphne was saying about being a parent. The law will always be there, but the kids won't be. Her prioroties have been completely scewed. For the kid's sake, I hope she's able to change those going forward.
thank you for clearing up the whole insurance policy issue. I really didn't like that Mel was questioning Brian on that. It's his policy and his choice how to look after it. Period.Now we know it was actually Lindsey who was looking into it. Obviously it was to find a way to somehow get $$. Thankfully that can't happen.
More family is arriving at Britin. I'm liking Uncle Matt and I'm pretty sure Brian is adoring him atm. :) Who wouldn't?
So tired of Michael's continued "always has always will" crap. does he say it in his sleep? Honestly? when a person is faced with certain things time and time again, wouldn't one, at some point, reasonably assume it be treu? How many times does Michael have to be told NO or that Brian DOESN"T love him. That at this point barely tolerates him. that Brian stays away on purpose. He seems to find away to make excuses for Brian saying or doing the things he does. or that he needs to fly in and save Brian from the evil Justin. *insert eye roll here*. At least he seems to have come to the conclusion that he's going to give up on Ted. Thank goodness for small mercies. Looks like the only person that he's going to have is Lindsey, and even she only barely puts up with him, and only because she's able to manipulate him so easily. He's a basically a puppet.

Oh thank goodness Emmett stood his ground with Calvin. That was fantastic! Emmett realizes his worth, as well as teh value of his true friends. Calvin is outa there! Weel, for now anyway. we'll have to see if he tries anything further. He seems to have the same sense of self worth as Michael and Lindsey have. Definiltey and over inflated ego. Drew.......well, he sure did deflate that didn't he. The neighbour's reactions was frigging hilarious! Was laughing my ass off over that! Granny's even getting a new car out if it! Definitely worth Calvin face planting it into her old one. LOL! Calvin's come backs were just so jeuvenile! I mean really....."Make me" and "I'm not scared of you...." Ugh! Reminds me of grade school. It's no wonder he and Michael are friends.
Mel, while her intentions may be to "fix" things, her expectaions are out of whack. She's upset because the kids won't talk to her. What does she expect? And sadly, she's still making excuses. The" I have to work" crap will only go so far. Majority of people have to work, het our kids are still out #1. Seems that her work is her #1. She's still not taking full responsibility, but I hope she's sincere in her intentions. That she'll start taking the right steps in doing what's right for her kids. Up till now, she's been the worst kind of vindictive bitch. she's had so many people on the periferal warn her about what she and Lindsey are ultimately doing to their kids. I really hope she starts doing right by them. That her ego doesn't get in the way.

Ryder did what we've ALL wanted to do. I must say though, I was completely gutted though. but then again, so was he. The fact he was able to take on Jenny's pain.....A deeply deeply emotional part.
Lyndsey got fired. No surprise. Also not surprising that she want to the Nichols Gallery. There's no way she's going to get an in there though. The very idea is laughable!
speaking of laughable...that Michael thinks he should continue to pursue Ted...that Lindsy is encouraging him...wow......Looking forward to blake kicking his ass. Also want to see Ted lose it on Michael as well. We all knew these 2 were delusional....but seriosuly?!?! The level they're at now is jaw-dropping!

*Snicker* **Chuckles** ***Laughing*** ****LMAO**** *****ROFLMAO***** Those are all of the emotions I had during the contretemps between Em, Drew and Cunty Calvin!! OMG!!! The visuals of Calvin beating the hell out of himself and the neighbors' reactions.....SMH I ended up with the hiccups trying to catch my breath from laughing!
I really love Justin like this! He's strong and isn't willing to let anyone get away with excuses for idiotic behavior. However, I am also glad that Ben was there to temper Justin's conversation with Mel. He knows what Mel has endured being married to a selfis, self-absorbed and obsessed person since he's had to live through the same kind of trauma being involved with Michael. Both Lindsay and Michael expect to be taken care of and then emotionally abuse the people who are fulfilling their needs. I'm glad that Ben has resolved to get out while his sanity and self-esteem are still in tact. Hopefully Mel will do the same and find her self-worth again. As much as I hate her actions, I can understand why she felt as if she was always fighting against the shadow of Brian Kinney. I agree with Ben. Mel needs to sell the Harridan Hotel that was once Muncher mansion and MOVE ON.
So happy that Daph is there!! I loved the greeting with Justin and the fact that despite the success and motherhood, she is still the same "Ride or Die Hard" BFF. Her and Ryder's interaction was too hilarious!! But it was completely done without malice and their mutual respect for each other was obvious. I think if Mel isn't as honest as she can be with Daphne, Daph is going to destroy her anyway simply for daring to mess with Brian and Justin for all these years. As for Lindsay, I really can't wait for that clash. In addition to that, Lindsay is calling Gary up a storm to try and get next to Justin..SMH Lawd Ham Turkey that she-wolf is NUTS! I really can't wait to see what happens when she is told 'NO' in reference to working with Justin. For now though, I'm relieved that she doesn't know where they live....yet Please don't let Em, Ben, Ted, Mel or Deb spill that information to the Dumber-ment Twins.

I agree with everything Ryder said to Mel, sure now she admits that something is wrong with the kids, but she is still refusing to face the problems, I wish there was some way for Ryder to take Jenny that child would understand like Gus does what it feels like to be cherished and loved with the freedom to be a child and not afraid to make friends.
I want to give Mel the benefit of the doubt but she has to admit to all the problems including her animosity to Brian and how that makes Gus feel.
I just love Ryder he is funny, sweet and I bet that kiss he laid on Ben has him half way through the door.
Can't wait for everyone else to show up this is going to be so much fun.
Lindsay might want to reconsider calling Justin's agent and trying to get involved with his career, Justin would just love to rip her a new asshole and the agent will hold her down while Justin does it.

Now there's Mel. OK...comingin through the bedroom window....WAY too creepy for words! while I'm thrilled that she's finally seeing herself for the selfish C-word that she is, I'm just hopig that the damage that she's already done is fixable. How far is she willing to go on order to make amends? Glad she spoke with Ben, even more so that Ben is there out of concern for the kids, adn isn't taking anything Mel says or does at face value. Whatever happens, he's going to protect the kids. Period. A bit nervous as to what's going to happen next. while I certainly hope she's being honest adn intends to get her shit together, I also hope that Jenny is able to stay at Britin with Gus. Brian adn Justin will fight tooth adn nail to keep Gus withthem, but they really don't have a leg tostand on when it comes to Jenny.
