I am so in love with this story Nichelle. I never read WIP because I am too impatient but I can't wait to see what happens. If Daphne s anything like Brian when it comes to sex Melanie is going to very happy morning, noon and night along with inbetween lol
Daphne is one determined young woman and Melanie deserves to be with someone who will put her first, wants her and doesn't have an ulterior motive involving one Brian Kinney who isn't interested.
Plus Daphne will adore the kids and make sure they are happy aswell while also helping to protect them and Melanie from Lindsay and anyone else who comes along.
Lindsay never appreciated what she had and now she is going to lose more than she ever imagined but no way is Daphne ever going to let Melanie go once she has her.

Boy, oh boy... you are typing up a storm this evening. I have tried for a few days to do that, and anything I get down, it all sounds wrong... Writer's block, possibly?
Anyways... I'd like to say that you have me totally wrapped up in this story now. (Shame on you!)
I can just about imagine what Lindsay has done in the past that has Lynette have that big of an ax to grind.
But, I have to wonder if Nancy's warning to Lindsay to keep her trap shut will fall on death ears... knowing Lindsay, I'm sure it will... she always thinks she invincible.. but oh my god! If she DOES bring up little Christopher, it's just possible Lindsay and Nancy could BOTH be shipped off to do servitude. But, who would want the dried up former Mrs. Perterson? And then if Ronald could take back the Hobbs home, and Justin the business, that family may have to join them.
Daphne and Melanie... hmm... I can see it... I never thought it before... but... nice pairing.

Yes Daphne will be protecting Melanie in more ways than one.
Melanie is about to be one very lucky woman cause not only has she made a profit of over three hundred thousand dollars that will help her, but Brian will make sure she and the kids as somewhere safe until she is ready to face Lindsay.
This isn't running and hiding it is taking time to shore up her defenses she. Lindsay comes ready to attack.
Plus Daphne will enjoy helping Melanie get battle ready while also helping to heal he broken heart whether its just a going or something more on the horizon Melanie can use a friend who will be honest and straightforward while also helping.
Ron must feel really good now that he has taken his balls back from Nancy and Lindsay he is exciting his form of revenge Wasp Style and he is doing it better than Nancy who isn't one yet but she might be too busy trying to make sure Lindsay keeps her mouth shut.
I don't think sho will do it but it will be fun trying to keep the name Christopher Hobbs from falling from Lindsay's viperous lips.
Lynette is going to make the payback Hurt and it is no more than they deserve for the treatment she suffered at their hands.

I re-read the fourteen chapters, so I'm all caught up... I enjoyed the few extras you put into the story... they definitely enhanced it.
And now I'm ready to have those two shipped off to Amsterdam to be in the 'service' industry.
I do have one question though...
Was it one of Justin's grandfathers that left Vic some money to help ease their lives, but that they gave it to Michael, who ended up squandering it away?

I'm glad that you've been enjoying the stoy. I still have some edits to do, but I've already began chapter 15. In reference to your question, yes it was Justin's grandfather Alfred Matthew Winston, who gave Vic the money. But of course, queue Michael with the violin-worthy sob story, Deb buys it, and Vic agrees to the 'loan' that hasn't gotten paid back.

I really do hope that Foxx left Lindsay $1.00 so that she cannot contest and challenge the will. it will be interesting to see what you have planned to be revealed about Lindsay's conception/circumstances of her birth and what subsequently followed.
Did the butler purposely let Lindsay believe the Netherlands, as there is an Amsterdam, NY-too. But IF it is the Netherlands, that will take MONEY to find him, something Lindsay and Michael have none of.
