The thing with Justin and Ethan is they had been together for a long time and I think deep down, they both knew their time together was coming to an end, even if it was subconscious, you know? They have been through a lot together, and more on that will be explained soon, but they will always care for each other :)

Love the new chapter, Sally! I know there may be some readers upset with the ending of this chapter but I love that Brian closes up here. It's so him and I know how effected he would be by seeing Adam. They were together, he cared about him, and Adam ditched him during the time he needed him the most, most likely driving Brian into a depression. :( I think he needs a day to decompress and hopefully he will be able to open up to Justin about it, even if it is just a little bit. Anyway, great chapter! Look forward to the next one! :)

It's so good to have them communicate, even if Justin's not yet ready to confide in Brian about the bashing (presuming that's what he's holding back). Justin's trust in Brian is growing ever stronger since he allows him to massage his hand. â¤ï¸
Justin's introduction to Debbie made me laugh, as did her assessment that Brian would eat the onion rings if they were on Justin's plate. So true to canon! 😀
Ugh, Adam had to show up and ruin a heated moment between the two. Has Adam become a junkie? Why he'd dump Brian is beyond my power to understand.
My heart goes out to Brian; Adam's behavior has sent him into a little bit of a tailspin. I hope he recovers quickly. Justin's so wonderfully supportive and understanding.
Can't wait for the next chapter to find out how Brian's faring!
One question: Did Brian and Justin not go together in Justin's car from Justin's apartment to the diner? I was a little puzzled that Brian didn't recognize Justin's car. Did he go back to his loft before meeting Justin for an early dinner?

He's been in Justin's car once, it was dark when they came out - and to be fair, he had lots of other things on his mind. So he wasn't sure if that was Justin's car or not. Brian's mind was on other things ;)
Adam hasn't become a junkie, but he's in a different place to Brian now, and I can't wait for you to see how Brian deals with seeing him. And of course, he had to ruin the bloody moment between them - jerk LOL.

I love this update so much. Brian is so cute with worry about Justin. Aww, he didn't want Justin to abandon or Leave him either. I'm so glad that Justin explained why he wasn't at work. I'm wondering what Justin is going to say to his replacement about Brian? Brian will act up with the next person if Justin doesn't tell him first. I loved Brian being Justin massage therapist too. YES, that is what I wanted to get across in this story, that they both have each other's backs. And it's not just Brian looking after Justin or vice versa. Gus will definitely be back to help out with his daddy's dates :p

Started off so lovely....ended so abruptly. :( Big frowny face. Ah well...it's the angst that makes them work for it now doesn't it. Hopefully it doesn't take long for brian to get over his snit. I totally understand it, but I hope he gets over it quickly.
He and Justin were so.......cute!! Normally it's Justin that cute, but Brian. I just wanted to eat him uip!
