Lindsay is going to let Michael's idiocy burn bridges that she hasn't even built yet...SMH LOL I'm so glad that she is being exposed for the jealous Jezebel she is! First her digs about Daphne and Vince, which Gus promptl called her on. Then her bullshit mantra of how she is 'Gus' mother' and was promptly shut down by Mel. Then her and Michael's machinations to use Jenny and Gus to gain entry to Britin. I couldn't have been happier when all her plans went to hell in a handbasket...or better still an Armani suit (Brian), a pair of Monolos (Mel), an Old Navy sweater and cargo pants (Justin) and a pair of Wrangler jeans with a plaid shirt and gold-rimmed glasses (Ben).
Incidentally How dare Michael?!!!! How dare he spend Brian's money for him while everything must be about his own convenience?! What a damn low-down clown he is!! I'm glad that everyone shut him up, including Justin! The scene at the store was hilarious!! Talk about Karma! He could only look at the action figures but no longer able to touch them. Even though I would have sold every last one of them off, this is a much better punishment for Captain Pain in the Ass! Furthermore, Matt proved himself a freaking genius when it came to remodeling the store while that lazy schmuck literally saw just how worthless he is. I laughed loud and long at Michael's expense this chapter. Now back to the President of the Skank Patrol: Lindsay...
Once again Sargeant Pain in the Ass has to wiggle her toes in her throat (a variation of Michael's foot-in-mouth disease) as she first insults her hosts taste in wine and then their son! I snickered when Zee told her point blank that she forgets that the house she is staying in IS Matt's home and has more right to fuck in it than she does. I'm glad that Faal heard her even though nothing the galloping trollop could do will change him and Zee's relationship. She'll probably piss bricks when she finds out just who Zaden really is and that she's as well off as Brian himself with and without Faal. I can see Mel is getting well and truly tired of her and that it won't be long before she'll be sharing her parents rental with Michael.

Shame that Gus and Jenny have to go back to Toronto. I'm wondering why they are letting Lindsay pick the schools. She was a pain throughout Thanksgiving and her opinion's can't be trusted. It's a good thing that Daphne will be back for Christmas. Justin's been spoilt during Thanksgiving. Poor Alice having to clean up after Lindsay. Hunter, without Michael's influence, has lucked out. They now want to make him a curator and are paying for his education! Micheal's in a bad mood, he's just found out that Red Cape Comics is reopening under new management and seen Ben at the diner. Nosy as ever, he wants to know all about the keys that his mother gave Ben. Someone needed to tell the person at the store that Michael Novotney wasn't welcomed. Loved the conference call with everyone about schools. Like how Ben weighed in and put the cabash to what Lindsay and Michael want over what's best for the kids. Michael seems to think that answer to any problem is they can use the service, not that he's paying of course and why does Brian need to get anyone a car? Mel and Lindsay are adults and can support themself. Boy the comic book store looks fantastic, I wouldn't mind shopping there. And to think that Matt was behind all the improvements, improvements that with all the money Michael got from Brian he didn't make. Is the secret that Matt didn't tell what Michael said about Hunter? Finally everyone is coming home on a private plane. Funny how pissed Lindsay got when Daphne boarded with her new coat. Someone really needs to set Lindsay straight about why no one wants to be around Michael. Then when she still backs Michael everyone will have a good reason to back away from her. Lindsay should have been impressed with the brownstone. Can't get over her thinking she can dictate what Matt and Hunter do in their own home. Seesh. And that sly dig about the wine. Personally a crew cap type of wine is all Lindsay deserves. Wonderful chapter and I can't wait for the next.

Well, next monkey with the long tail is on the chopping block!! Lindz sure got her ass handed to her this chapter and I, for one, couldn't have been happier! LMAO! I loved Mel's comebacks after Ms. McFool's meltdown. If Mel had stayed another few moments, I'm sure that Lindsay's performance would have rivaled Linda Blair's in "The Exorcist." A fist doused in Holy water anyone??
I really felt for Mel. She really has allowed herself to be emotionally abused by Lindsay and all for the sake of 'love.' Unfortunately that is a common issue within many relationships and systematically destroys a person's sense of self and their self-worth. I really think that Faal's words and the family's support couldn't have come at a better time for Mel. She's moving back to where she and Lindsay began. Sometimes two steps backward is required to dump the dead weight and spring forward. Looks like Mel is gearing up to do just that!!
Daph...WHOO_WEE I LOVE her!! Not only is she straightforward when she has to be but she can be as sneaky as Michael and Lindsay when neccessary. And it was definitely needed here! I loved that she sung like the know-it-all canary and revealed Lindsay's alliance with Michael. Her attention to remembering exactly what was said was worth its weight in gold to not only Mel but the group as a whole. Tucker is right to let the Shit-for-Brains Brigade to continue in their plans. Not only will it be fun to watch them burn out, but it will also allow them to react to Michael and Lindsay's machinations without it seeming to be unjustified. This way when the Dumbasstic Duo are frozen out, there won't be a question why they are.
Soooo can't wait for the next chapter!

I did have a bit of a time writing the comfort scene for Mel, emotionally abusive relationships can be more damaging that physical ones because you don't see the bruises, but she's coming out of there tougher and with the family wind beneath her wings.

Love how Vince is becoming another member of the family. I can't get over how Lindz acted, she did nothing but bitch. Well at least Mel explained it all to her, though she didn't seem to believe her. Surely everyone will be able to spike any plans the two have. :p Love how Faal manipulated her into making breakfast and lunch. I can see why everyone needed to go to the diner after it. Love Carl for pointing out that the kids had done the dishes yesterday. Love how Drew was not afraid to tell Daphne what Michael had said. I still think Lindsay should be told, though she'll probably try to excuse Michael and even agree with him. horrors! Tuckers plan to let them play out their little devious plot sounds sensible. Was Deb being sarcastic when she said Michael reacted in a calm in rational way when he bumped into David in Shadyside? Ted's been doing some thinking I see and is seeming to relate portions of his past to what is going on. At least he straightened his life out. Mel and Daphne are like two sisters and it's wonderful to see. Daphne can help Mel learn to enjoy living again. Shopping! Let's not forget catnip massage oil and honey dust. I learned about honey dust from NCIS. It was wonderful that everyone gave Daphne the coat that she wanted. She's a true friend, plus nobody would know what Lindsay was up to if not for her. A truly amazing and enjoyable chapter.

I don't even mind waiting for the Christmas chapter cause everything that happened after Michael was dropped off was hilarious.
I just love that Faal is mocking Lindsay and all she sees is that he is flirting with her (Delusional Much? Not All Men Want to Hit That), having her prepare breakfast and everyone messing with her was too funny.
So now Lindsay has three women gunning for her Ass and she can't run fast enough to get away from them.
I would almost feel sorry for Michael and Lindsay because Daphne knows what they have done and she is beyond pissed, but it is going to be too much fun to witness their abject humiliation.
Lindsay is still under the belief she can take on Zee I can't wait for that bubble to burst in her face along with Zee's first. (If she can't handle Jennifer and Daphne then she is no match for Zee lol)
I agree with Tucker just sit back and let those two act out their plans cause they can't keep a secret for long and it always backfires in their faces.
The gift of the coat to Daphne was so sweet of course there is no way she is missing all the fun at Christmas.

Brian is the man. Having Daphne show up for Thanksgiving is inspired. Not to mention he knows that she'll keep Michael in check. Back in Toronto Lindsay is thinking 'Something is definitely up, I don’t like deviousness or secret agendas.' Considering she is the mistress of devious and secret agendas that's rich. Ben and Steve have been outed ... by Hunter, not that we care. We think that couple is adorable, add Taylor to the mix and it's plain awesome. Justin and Emmy Lou trying to find out what Zee is serving was totally funny. Thanksgiving was unique starting out with a fantastic breakfast. One thing that puzzles me is presents at Thanksgiving. That's a new one on me. Not that I wouldn't mind starting the tradition. Speaking of which, did Michael bring one for Jenny? I was so glad to find out that Mel took the offer. Top that off with Zee saving Brian from having to put Lindsay up while they find a place to move into in Pittsburgh. Bow to the Queen. Then we have to love, love Jennifer for suggesting the house in Shadyside. Vince is my new favorite. When Michael doesn't order a cab in the hopes of being allowed to stay, he offers to drive him home. No greater sacrifice can a man make. Now what was it Lindsay told Michael? That's gonna bug me. Christmas should indeed be interesting.

I hadn't realised that presents were given at Thanksgiving as the norm, but I thought because of their generous natures, this is something that Zee and Faal would do and Brian and Justin hopped on board with the concept. Of course Michael didn't bring a present, he was zeroing in on his "forgiveness" by Brian until he was disabused by the tigress that is Daph, silenced by Jen and escorted out by Vince.
Ah that would be telling what the whispering viper told him, all will be revealed later.
Moving to the Brownstone is going to be a trial for Lindz as she's never seen it but has heard Jenny rave...she doesn't do it justice. And of course she makes the rookie, considering she's a WASP, mistake of trying to buzz Zee on home turf...Zee was just toying with her earlier.

Daph and Jen...what can I say except that I really love those two and their 'Breathing!' The Bitch and Mitch thought they were being slick; thought their planning was going to go their way...NOPE! And then there was Mel's announcement!
I'm so happy she accepted the position with the law firm. Mel is BACK and with a lucrative career as a partner in the works. I think she's coming back better off than when she'd left for Toronto. Now only if she could have a better partner... I can't believe Lindsay's audacity to expect to stay at Britin. That trick just knows no conscience! And I love how Zee made it virtually impossible for her to refuse and the not-so-subtle innuendo that Lindsay's 'housefrau' days are OVER!! She should have gotten a job long since! Well now she'll have to but I really hope that it will NOT be in the gallery Hunter works for. That would be just like having Michael underfoot and all over him. I wouldn't wish that fate on my worst enemy!

The moments between Brian and Justin is hot and steamy as usual and I love when they have quiet moments to themselves.
Michael being his normal obtuse self glad that Daphne is here to knock him down several pegs, I just loved when she threatened him too bad he was semi behaved I think he should have eaten some cat poop, it would be fitting justice for the crap he has heaped on everyone else.
Now Lindsay got quite a smack down from Zee that had me laughing and stunned everyone else, she comes to Britin acting like she is Queen of the manor trying to throw her weight around, luckily Justin knocked her down, even Jennifer and Daphne got a shot in though that won't stop Lindsay she will just come up with a new strategy (Too Bad All Her Plans Are As Dumb As Her).
Mel taking the job and moving the kids back to Pittsburgh is good and a smart move, too bad the move also means having to deal with Michael and Lindsay at once (Of course twice the laughs when they get humiliated).
Zee was smart to offer the girls use of the brownstone for six weeks and smart to lay down conditions, cause once Lindsay gets in it is going to take crowbars to get her out, plus it prevents her from thinking Britin is hers, keeps her away from Brian and nips her fantasy in the bud.
Lindsay is playing a a very dangerous game that has two women gunning for her Ass, she would be smart to stay in her lane but when Lindsay wants something she is never smart, and that means she is never ready to handle the consequences of her actions.
My money is on Zee to go for the face and Jennifer going after the body. lol
I wonder how much money Michael has left he has been spending Alot and with Christmas coming he is going to spend more trying to win back Jenny??
Looking forward to Christmas I just know there is going to be more fireworks than the fourth of July. :)

Glad everyone was able to go out and have fun at Babylon without whiny Mikey coming to spoil the fun.
I hope Deb will stay strong and not give in to the urge to save Michael she can't cure stupid or save a dumbass, Michael has to figure out how to live like an adult by himself and he has to learn that our actions have consequences, no more holding his hands and blaming others for his mistakes he needs to face reality.
Mel seriously needs to consider that job offer the kids would be happy to be back in Pittsburgh with their family and it sounds like a good opportunity.
I admire Jenny for willing to give Michael one last chance to redeem himself and save his relationship with his daughter, but unfortunately she is asking for a miracle that will never come cause Michael is too much of a spoiled self-centered child to do the ratings get thing if it doesn't benefit him first.
I see Michael is spending money like it just grows on trees at this rate he should be broke before Christmas (Crosses Fingers), I actually hope he finds a lawyer so he can get laughed out of court.
So David is coming to Pittsburgh to visit his daughter and her parents that is good and will drive Michael crazy lol
Looking forward to everyone being in the Pitts for thanksgiving cause we all know these two dimbulbs are going to cause trouble.
I would love to see the glasses when Zee is finished bet they will be Beautiful and cherished for years to come.
Daphne is home and that should make it even more interesting and very funny.

The plans for Christmas seem to be coming along. Good food, good friends, and skating. Seeing as how all this started with Michael blaming Ben's health problem on skating this is ironic.
I knew that Emmett would be getting ideas for the wedding from Zee's glass working. It's going to be something special.
Zee talking everyone into going dancing Babylon, and I mean everyone including Deb and Carl, Jennifer and Tucker. Not to mention a few couples who won't be dancing.
Love the idea of the stretch limo.

So David's daughter Sarah lives near Michael. Considering the problems he's having with Jenny, I doubt he'll be able to get along with another child, though he does act like one himself.
The lazy bum certainly doesn't need an accountant since he doesn't have a job. When does Brian recoup the money he lent Mikey, who still owes money for the food he ordered that Ben and Hunter didn't benefit from. At least he paid that bill, but used Brian's money to do it. Arrrgh.
He doesn't even send in the money he owes for Jenny's support while Ben is still sending in half. I do hope that Jenny goes through with her plan to be adopted by Ben.

He actually thought Brian would send a car for him? Give him an inch and he'll take you to the cleaners. Can't wait to see how Thanksgiving goes.

Glad they all had BIG FUN at Babylon. With all the drama the group has been through, they deserved some light-hearted, good old-fashioned playtime. Handsome Carl being hit on by Grizz was hysterical! Em did always say he would have made one helluva bear. What a way to boost his ego!

I'm wondering if Michael assumes he doesn't need to pay any rent at this place. Does he think he gets to live there for free? What happens when the Peterson's expect a rent payment? It's one thing that Lindsey was able to talk her parents into letting him live there, but I'm pretty sure they expect some $$ to come their way. I wonder also what the gang's reaction will be when they find out Lindsey's involvement in this. I get that Jen wants to see it all play out. lol. could be interesting. lol. And the fact that he thinks he should be able touch Ben's money is astounding!! I mean seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable! I just don't get his sense of entitlement.
I don't think Jen has to worry about Zee and Faal. I'm pretty certain they can handle it, but I gotta say, I sure wouldn't mind having Jen on my side, ready to pounce! YIKES! Seems Tucker appreciates it too! :)
Thank goodness Adam White has dropped Michael as a client. He's a total loss and would definitely give the firm a bad wrap! Who the hell would want to take that idiot on?! what will he do now though? will he heeds the lawyer's advise adn drop it? Not likely. He'll find another lawyer who will just milk him for all he's worth and just take take take. Works for me since that's all Michael does.
somewhat of a fun night for the rest of the gang. funny that Brian got creamed at pool! I can just imagine his face when he barely got 1 shot in for all three games. Well, Faal did warn him! :) Fun time was ruined however by Michael's appearance. I seriously cracked up when he said that he and Brian were "reconnecting" BWAHAHAH! too funny! Like Emmett said, Brian only wanted to reconnect his fist to Michael's face. Am impressed though that Brian didn't follow through with that. Michael would more than likely tried some other law suit, pressed charges and would only drop them if Brian dropped Justin. Brian was smart enought to just walk away and let Emmett deal with him.
Another remarkable dinner. How exciting that Hunter was able to let Justin know about the paintings!! so thrlled for him. such a regret for him and now can have them back where they belong.
what idea does Emmett have about the glasses? I'm thinking something for teh wedding perhaps?
another hilarious moment between Zee, Jen adn Tucker! It took me a minute or 2 to figure out what Zee was talking about too. :)
AS per usual, another fantastic chapter! I get so excited when I see an update. Lovely long chapters with so much happening in each one!
I have to say your ending notes have me rather nervous!! I hope beyond hope that Deb stands firm. she has so many people around her to help keep her on track. I get that she's "mom" and instictually wants to help her son, but sometimes the best way to help is to let go and allow them to sink or swim.
As for the other person who's resolve is crumbling....I wonder who it is. Hopefully not Jenny. Terribly hard for her I know, disowning one's father is brutal! I would completely understand and empathize if she did, but for some reason I don'tthink it's her. Mel maybe? I can't think of who else it would be. I'll have to ponder the idea a bit more.

Although he did stop himself from clobbering Michael, it had to be Emmy Lou that brought him back to being Brian before Justin made him happy. Emmy Lou should not be underestimated, he topped Drew after all.
Hunter working at the gallery works out in more ways than one for him and Matt...and it someone's ass gets used as a mop in the process, hee-hee!

I swear Michael is like a severe case of gonorrhea! He'll go away for awhile but his 'flair ups' are always embarrassing and painful. He should be listed in the CDC datebase as a parasite. It was beyond laughable that he thought Ben would have his money deposited into any account with Michael's name attached to it. I also laughed loud and long when Adam dissed and dismissed Michael as a client. I felt my own IQ dropping as I read Michael's thoughts. Plus it doesn't help that Lindsay is feeding him all that hogwash about people knowing their place (as you can tell that is still burning my buscuits and overcooking my grits!!). I can't wait to see what will happen when he's faced with another lawsuit and what happens when 'his' money finally runs out. Karma is going to come knocking once again for the Idiot man!
The scene with B & J in the limo was FIRE!! Good gravy thank goodness that Brian has learned to let Justin soothe him. I was also proud of Brian for resisting the urge to hit Michael. The idiot would have done one of two things: either take Brian's punch as misguided affection the way delusional people see physical abuse as 'love' OR sued Brian for monetary damages the way he tried to do Alice. Emmett's arrival was really fortuitous in that it was a reminder of all Brian had to lose should he have given into his first instinct.
I'm so damn happy that Justin got those paintings back! After hearing Justin talk about them and Ted describe them, I really wish I could paint so that I could see them. Thank goodness for Hunter and that he didn't just catalogue the gallery but actually paid attention!
As for your last comment at the end of the chapter. I sincerely hope that even if Deb's resolve weakens (which it will even if she doesn't act on it. Please don't let her act on her inclinations to save Dumbass! I mean I understand..that's just a mom after all but I'm not above begging for Deb to remain Michael-free), that Jenny's does NOT. I mean I get it in a way but he has already proven that he isn't worth the heartache he brings with him. It doesn't help that there must be times when Bitchzilla is in her ear while Mel is at work, telling Jenny that she should forgive her father. Hopefully Gus will help Jenny stick to her guns even as he tells Mel what his sneaky she-bitch of a 'mother' is really up to. Hopefully Gus turns 18 soon!

Yes Lindz is so busy trying to get what she wants, that she has completely forgotten that her son will soon be 18...see what a kind and loving mother she is.
Justin knows what to do for his man and although the smut was a little late in coming [pardon the pun] I am glad it warmed the cockles.
Sadly for Debs, Michael is a shark where she is concerned and he starts to smell blood in the water...

Michael seems to have a strange disconnect. I'm not sure he's even thought how he's going to pay the rent. He actually thought that Ben would continue to deposit his paycheck? How stupid is that. He's spending money and has no income. Not to mention he's living in a fag free zone now.
It looks like Ben and Hunter are updating their living area's as well. Now that they don't have to support Mikey they have money to burn. I don't blame Carl for being loud, trying to understand why Michael thinks Ben should continue supporting a losing cause is enough to blow your mind. He never paid anything towards the house and expects to get money for living there?
Hunter working in a gallery is going to pay off big time, especially when he realizes that Justin's missing paintings are there. A win-win all around. He also gets special attention for all his hard work, a nice hot bath and a massage. Luck him.
I'm with Tucker and Jen. What do you get someone who has everything. Tucker's reasoning that they value their friendship is right on the money. Plus Jen will be there to defend Zee though Zee doesn't really need help. We learn more about Zee, her pool playing abilities, her glasswork. She's a person of many talents.
I was extremely happy to see the attorney cut Michael loose. Any suits Michael would file would be losing suits and could only hurt the reputation of White and Sullivan.
That Michael thinks that Justin is behind the problem he's having is laughable. He seems to feel he can be as boorish and hurtful to others and his friends, or should I say former friends, will accept it. He did manage to upset Brian so much that Justin had to fuck the mood out of him.
Lilah's chapter was a highpoint. She is so cute and knows how to comfort her humans.
Alice and Emmett know how to set a table and it always makes me hungry when I read of the wonderful things they and Zee get up. Zee would definantly be an asset to the catering business. Emmy Lou has something on his mind regarding Zee's glass making abilities and I'm wondering if it has something to do with wedding.
Last, but not least, Ted goes all out to make his boss's dreams come true. Now that's a friend.
