So far all the changes have been for the better. I don't really see anything that would affect Hunter. Loving how well Emmett is taking all this.

Date: Oct 07, 2016 1:47 am Title: Chapter 20
Love using Alex in this. At least he talks to Justin not at him. He also points out things Jennifer needs to hear. Now Lindsay and her smelly state. That was harsh, but it sounds like something that she'd do. Michael is strange one minute he's dissing Justin the next moment he's offering to introduce Jennifer to Deb. Must be the food? I'm glad they told Emmett, between him and Ted things will go better.

Poor Micheal. He doesn't get it. He disses Ted, and tries to convince Brian he doesn't need a roommate. Does he ever learn?

Date: Oct 07, 2016 1:08 am Title: Chapter 18
Back in the real world and nothings changed. Mikey still doesn't believe that Brian is serious about Justin. Jennifer, even forewarned actually thinks that Craig will continue to love and support their son onced he finds out Justin is gay. At least there's the new jeep.

Date: Oct 06, 2016 11:30 pm Title: Chapter 17
When you think about it Justin's not wanting or needing fame makes a difference. It was a good reason for not going to New York. Now why Lindsay felt it so important is puzzling. Did she know the plane would crash?
Date: Oct 06, 2016 11:00 pm Title: Chapter 21
I like that Brian explains that Emmett, Ted and Mel become his core group of friends. We already see that starting to happen slowly. He realizes what real friends are, and how they are supposed to be. thankfully he got rid of the trash.
Their concern for the future is natural. As long as the changes they make don't effect things like Jenny and Kira coming into existence mostly things should be OK or can most likely be dealt with. Hopfully Marty will be able to keep guiding them in the right direction, as long as she doesn't try to make them keep repeating the same shit over and over. Certain things will have to happen as much as they don't want them to. But if it means a specific outcome, they don't have much of a choice. I'm sure the boys will remember certain occurances as they beging to come to pass in this life. Like Brian said, he can't be expected to remember everything in those 40 years.
Cheers,
Elaine

I like where Deb is heading. Hope she keeps that way. Mel is starting to get it. Ted has gotten it. But the Vic the ghost has another agenda. One that doesn't really pan out.
Date: Oct 06, 2016 10:46 pm Title: Chapter 20
Totally snorted out my nose when I read that Alex was going to be the mediator here. OH the irony of it all! Jen certainly has some thinking to do. I also believe that she more certain about what Craig's reaction will be, seeing as she hasn't said anything to him.
Purgatory sounds..........UGH! Awful! Surrounded by people just like Joan, Lindsey, Michael and Craig. (I'm pretty sure Jack's going further south to a MUCH warmer climate ;) )
Another attempt at an intervention. Michael and Lindsey are on their own now though. No one else is going to side with them. I had to chuckle at Michael's "Lindsey and I feel..." Like brian gives a flying fart in space how they feel or what they think.
Michael's about face with Justin was a bit weird, but I guess, it's not about Brian adn Justin, it's about Justin being gay, and Michael having had the support he did from his mother, can't let they young'un get stomped on my family.
And Lindsey as well, letting the suject drop (for now) adn concerning herself with Justin's talent. The New York comment sure didn't go ever well. (again...knowing what I know NOW re: Lindsey...ARG!! Bitch!!) She's starting the whole NY idea early on.
Emmet...oh my darling Emmett! Of course he belives it all without question. He's so open. His only concern is his friendship with Justin. He is just the most lovable adorable character! Love him to bits.
Cheers,
Elaine

Love Vic trying to be the voice of reason. Love Emmett for siding with Brian. Now we get to the gest of it al. Somehow Lindsays behind it all. Having Justin around who knows these people makes a whale of difference from the young Justin who tried to fit in.

Date: Oct 06, 2016 9:21 pm Title: Chapter 14
Having Daphne meet Michael was priceless. She told him off and he still wasn't listening.

Date: Oct 06, 2016 9:10 pm Title: Chapter 13
(“At first he seemed really nice, but if your friends always talk about you like that, you need new friends.” Justin tells me.) That right there always struck me as being what's wrong with Michael. I love how you are correcting that in this story. I remember that one of the messed up timeline had Ted a success and Mikey leaving Ben for Ted. That is just so wrong. Somehow you have to feel sorry for Ted if that were to happen.

Date: Oct 06, 2016 8:53 pm Title: Chapter 12
Let's get this straight. Brian is supposed to give Gus an insurance policy, but not Mel and Lindsay? Surely Mel couldn't have a sensible reason not to. Brian is going to fix it so they all have rights, they could have done that last time. Of course, that would mean less drama. We all know what Mikey told Justin, he refuses to listen. Lord help us when he finds out that Emmett is going to be beneficary to the insurance policy.

Date: Oct 06, 2016 8:30 pm Title: Chapter 11
Now this is really good. I've always like Emmett and him being the one Brian turns to when he's handing out extra keys is perfect. That trip to Vermont is going to change things in a good way.

Date: Oct 06, 2016 8:21 pm Title: Chapter 10
Mikey the petulant. What would we do without him. At least Justin's going to get his trip to Vermont, even if it is early.
Date: Oct 06, 2016 8:20 pm Title: Chapter 19
HA...Emmett and Ted are on the run, hiding out from M&L. Now they may have some diea of what Brian goes through on a daily basis. Emmett's brain must be in overdrive right now what with Marilyn talking.
Michael's inner thoughts are awful. Wouldn't it be interesting if those around him could actually hear what he's thinking? Like Ted hearing that Michael thinks he's boring, andthat Blake must've lost a bet to want to dance with Ted. I think Michael's pity parties would end pretty darn quickly.
Marilyn was obviously right....our boys ain't tricking tonight. LOL. They way you had them giving all those guys the thumbs down was funny. I guess Michael's illusions about the state of B&J's realtionship are shattered. He assumes that one expects momogomy and that the other won't. I doubt he ever expected that both boys wanted and even expected too.
Cheers,
Elaine
Date: Oct 06, 2016 8:11 pm Title: Chapter 18
their reprive from the circle was brief. Now they face the reality of their circle of "friends" Deb is trying. good for her. Michael and Lindsey...typical. they are just so frigging annoying! Mel is the obvious go between where Lindsey is involved. While there have been a coule of times that we thought she and Brian have finally hit an understanding, she's fallen bck on the "I hate him" attitude. Now...FINALLY she will at last see things without the blinders on. Brian has laid down teh law. Linds needs to buck up and be a parent. No excuses. He must be incensed about what he's hearing from Mel.
Jen will get there eventually. She doesn't want to believe that Justin's father would turn his back on him. I think the title of Justin's father, rather than her husband is allowing her the believe the best of him. As her husband, I think she really does know what his attitude will be. She really does want to beleive the best, but those hopes are going to burst sadly.
No matter how many times Brian tries to drill it home to Michael, he's just not going to get it. He completely blocks out anythign he doesn't want to ehar. anything that doesn't line up with his own wants or needs. I've often wanted to ask him what colour the sky is in his world.
Cheers,
Elaine

Love how Marilyn shows up with condoms. Everything went on schedule. Good thing I know Justin doesn't disappear later on.
Date: Oct 06, 2016 7:59 pm Title: Chapter 17
A much needed discussion for B&J. They hadn't had an opportunity until now. They both laid alot of stuff bare. Their reasons behind what they did at the end etc. Brian I think finally realizes what Justin wanted out of his art. Not to be the next Andy Warholl necessarily, but to reach his own level of success. World wide fame wasn't what he was looking for, just to be able to follow through with his need to create.
Justin also has the opportunity to give his idea on the Michael and Lindsey issue. What their motives were then and what they are now. Probably the same really, but Lindsey I think is more devious that Michael.
Poor poor Emmett. while it's great that he has Brian's trust to do the right thing for him, it sure hsa put him in a challenging position. He has Michael and Lindsey up his arse now and I'm sure they will continue on with it.
Cheers,
Elaine

Date: Oct 06, 2016 7:45 pm Title: Chapter 8
It finally happened. They meet but it isn't going the way it did, because Justin is there ( darn it gets confusing who is past Justin or future Justin) Strange how when Mikey wants to stay at Woody's that it's Emmett who tells us why. Has Lindsay already gotten to Michael. Of course we know who the guy was because we were lucky enough to have read later chapters. hehe. Shame you lost some really great comments. I loved reading everyone's takes on each chapter.
Date: Oct 06, 2016 6:37 pm Title: Chapter 16
B&J are finally getting away. Much needed to reconnect. I so love them together now.
FINALLY Deb is starting to see things for what they are. she really let them all have it. She'll never convince Michael that Brian doesn't love him adn never will, at least not in the way he wants. No idea how long it will take for him to get a clue, if ever, but I wil enjoy the process! Love watching he and Linsey getting their asses handed to them. :) And you do it so well.
Ted and Mel both having their own sort of epiphany. Finally Ted will move on from teh love sick puppy his is for Michael. He finally sees he's doignexactly the same as Michael is and that it's all pointless. He'll start to move on now thankfully. I stand by mea earlier assessment of EEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW!! at the thought of he and Michael together! (OK...Michae land anyone together give me the heebie jeebies!)
"Other Vic" needs to start leaving well enough alone. Justin is right. "Vic's" way isn't always right. (OK...this is where it's really hard 'casue I know what's coming....trying not to give away that I already know) huh...ya know, re-doing these reviews is kind of like the story itself. B&J are reliving and making changes where they can, knowing what's going to happen...anyway, I digress....sorry.
Cheers,
Elaine

Brian is pinching himself, makign sure everything is real. that his sunshine is really back. Must be so unnerving for him. Not trusting that it's for real. that it's for good now.
Ahhhhhhhhh. the long awaitied intervention is gonna happen. Deb started off so well, but of course, fell back into her normal ways of Brian needing to always be there for her son. That Brian needs to be responsible for Michael's happiness. Poor Vic havingto watch his sister and nephew trying to keep a leash on Brian. Then there's Lindsey. Really audatious of of them the presume they have a say in Brian's life or his decisions. Them trying to get them apart for this interventions is a hoot. thank fully Brian is onto it all and won't stand for it and obviously neither will Justin! BAM!! He was brilliant! Nothing like a "17" year old kid putting them in their places. And seriously?? Michael suggesting that they all go with them for the weekend?! I mean WT actual F?!?! that alone left my jaw drop open!
I agree with Justin here. Knowing what theyboth do now, makes these kids of interactions all the more amusing.
The topic of Lindsey is hard for Justin. He's knows something is up, but not sure what it is. Not sure of her involvment, only that, as he said, she's a catalyst somehow. Definitely a chat with Marilyn is necessary.
Cheers,
Elaine

Ahhhhhhhh. the ever present ideology that we must raise our children to the belief systems that we were and the need for famililial acceptance. I can see both sides, however, Mel's reasoning is so typical. Not considering the child, but themselves. Brian's motivations is simply looking out for the best insterests of his child. He's right. those kinds of mods can be done according to the childs own beliefs when he or she is old enough to make those decisions for themselves. It's too hypocritical of Mel to continue with a bris if she herself doesn't follow the belief rituals. That her only motivation is for the acceptance of her family. They already don't accept her for her lifestyle, getting some foreskin cut off isn't going to change their opinion.
JUSTIN'S BACK!! YAY!! And for good now. So happy for them both. Things should get interesting now!
Daphne is a doll. Have always loved her and wished she had more scenes in the show especially later on. She just doesn't put up with anyone's crap. The's teh poster girl for what a "best friend" really is. Michael hsa no idea what the concept really is, and becuase of Daphne, Brian can really see the difference. At least this time around he's not making excuses for Michael's behavior and attitude.
Cheers,
Elaine

Brian and Mel getting along is messing with Lindsay. She's already trying to change the past by trying to talk Brian out of getting to know Justin. Michael really needs to get a life so Deb can too.

Love everyone's part in this chapter. Especially Mysterious Marilyn and Vic.

Date: Oct 06, 2016 4:44 pm Title: Chapter 5
Hey, Justin said Brian's name. He was almost there. If I didn't know better I'd say that Mikey was even worse than the first time. Justin told him off though so that's good.
