The show could have so easily taken this route. Still plenty of angst and fear but clearly many of us thought Brian and Justin had progressed to the point where it simply seemed ridiculous that Brian would want to, or even be able to, hide this from Justin. Love your version.

I think most of us had issues with the way the cancer arc played out. I like to write fix it fics for us.

This would have worked well if they'd done it in the series. Cancer, a gift from his old man? I take it that Mikey isn't he POA anymore? Confronting Brian about it took a lot of guts, but it was a better senario than talking with Mikey was. If you ever want to take this further, I'd be happy to enjoy it.

I've written a lot about the cancer arc, some post-513 as well. It's possible I'd revisit this someday.
