Glad that Lindsay is going to be okay.  Hope things go well for Justin.

Author's Response:

I couldn't leave Lindsay hurt beyond repair.

Finally.  Maybe something will get done about what happened to Justin.

Author's Response:

I know right.

Oh boy.  It's good that Justin finally let it all out, but what happens now.  Does she tell Carl or does Justin ask her not to.

Author's Response:

Deb is less in everyone's business here. I'm glad your liking it.

Nooooo!  Not Ethan.  Sigh.  Can you tell I'm anti Ethan?  Glad that Justin kneed Sap.  It's only what he deserves.  What's he going to do about money?

Author's Response:

Don't worry it's not a Ethan friendly story. The money problem gets solved soon.

Well, unlike Mikey, Daphne knows when to call it quits.  I hope the new roommate is Emmett.

Author's Response:

I didn't write Michael as bad as I do in my new fanfic. This one he his actually nice.

So Deb's going to meet Justin and Molly.  How long will it be before Brian finds out.

Author's Response:

I love Deb Justin and Molly together.

Love the twists you've made.  Lindsay married Gui and Brian not having given up his rights.  Now you're sending Justin and Daphne to Louisiana!  My home state!

Author's Response:

Now I'm sad they didn't get there.

Moving along.  They are older and I assume Justin hasn't met Brian yet and hasn't learned about safe sex.  Otherwise Daphne wouldn't have gotten pregnant.

Author's Response:

Yes at this time he hadn't met Brian.

This is a scenerio that I never would have thought of.  Craig is still a bastard but at least Carl has stepped up to the plate.

Author's Response:

I wouldn't expect any less from Carl.

Wow! What an interesting change-up of events.

I like that Mel and Linds are back together, although I'm really sorry for Linds that Gui reacted so violently to her wanting a divorce. Brian's thought about feeling dirty for getting along with Mel cracks me up.

Justin certainly exploded. Didn't Carl even catch Justin's remark about when he was 12 years old, or is he fixated on Justin having sex with Brian?

Where did Justin run off to? Daphne? By himself to think?

Author's Response:

I get such a thrill reading you reviews. I hope you like the rest.

I admire Molly's fierce determination to help her brother. I'm sure Justin's ashamed as well as angry about what happened with CJ, but the truth clearly needs to come out, especially with CJ and his family returning to Pittsburgh.

How long will it be before Brian realizes that Justin is Molly's brother? He's already starting to feel protective. Will he confront CJ on Justin's behalf?

Author's Response:

I wrote Molly much like Carl.

CJ's almost as guilty as his air force buddy and definitely guilty of being complicit in his buddy's actions. Disgusting that he did nothing to defend his brother. Justin may not have been penetrated anally, but he was raped by the buddy and emotionally abused by his brother. I still wonder if CJ isn't a closet homosexual.

I adore Molly for her loyalty to Justin and her belief in her brother. It's important that she know about CJ. Who knows what he might let his buddies do to Molly?

It may be good that Debbie overheard what happened. Maybe she can help Justin heal or encourage him to talk with his dad and see a therapist.

Author's Response:

CJ is extremely guilty and has to live with that. Debbie found out that way because Molly would keep the secret to the grave.

Ugh. I forgot about chin-rat Ethan. Of course he's the roommate.

I'm so glad Justin got away from the Sap and his scummy expectations. I feel sorry for the other desperate souls he corrupts.

Brian acknowledges to himself that he's jealous. Poor guy. That blond definitely has his attention. :)

Author's Response:

Sap really is disgusting.

This is such a heart-wrenching chapter. The situation between Justin and Daphne reminds me of the friendship between Brian and Michael, with one person needing the other far more, more greatly fearing being abandoned. That Justin used sex with Daphne to keep her close is so awful, even if Daphne was complicit. Brain may have come close with Michael, but he never crossed that line. In this story, Justin and Daphne need to grow up and develop a healthy relationship rather than an unhealthy codependency.

The Sap is such a slimy bastard. I hope nothing awful will happen to Justin.

I like Debbie as Justin's potential stepmother; he could do far worse. I'm curious when Justin and Brian will realize that they're connected in more ways than one.

Who will Justin's roommate be? Emmett?

Author's Response:

This chapter was difficult to write. I didn't think most would like it.

Self-confident Justin is such a turn on. I like that both he and Daphne want to help with supporting themselves in college, and that they want to pay back the emergency fund money for their car repairs. I hope Justin won't succumb to pressure from sleazy Sap.

That Justin rejects Brian is fair turnabout. How long will they be able to ignore each other? How long before Michael and Brian learn that Justin is Debbie's boyfriend's gay son?

Author's Response:

I like self confident Justin too.

Wow! You do an excellent job of weaving real life issues into this story.

That Daphne wanted an abortion makes sense. She probably would have had some regrets anyway, but having a miscarriage puts a different spin on her pregnancy.

Their angry, depressed, drunk sex fits the context of the chapter. They've certainly had a crappy road trip.

C.J. was a shitty big brother to Justin. To have blamed Justin for enticing his friend when Justin was all of 12 years old and probably didn't yet know he was gay was a horrible thing for C.J. to do. It sounds as though C.J. doesn't even recognize how wrong he was or, perhaps, that he's too embarrassed to bring it up with Justin.

Author's Response:

Thank you. Cj really is a jerk in most of this.

Yes!! I'm so glad this incarnation of Brian didn't give up his rights to Gus just to keep Mel and Linds together. They either needed to work out their problems or separate.

I feel for Justin and Daphne, both of them getting their hearts broken. I'm ready to join them on their recovery trip to New Orleans.

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you're liking it. Yeah, I hated in the show that he signed over his rights.

Definitely some angst regarding Justin and C.J. I assume we'll learn what happened in future chapters. Sounds like C.J. may be gay or bisexual.

Exciting: Justin and Brian are about to meet!

Author's Response:

In the beginning that was the direction I was going with Cj but ended up not. But I'm still writing the squeal so who knows.

How old are Justin and Daphne in this chapter? I'm guessing 17 if they needed their parents' permission for the road trip.

Sad that Daphne miscarried although they probably weren't ready to become parents. It's very interesting to have Carl be the person who has to adjust to having a gay son.

Ugh, disgusting that sicko, murderous Reichert propositioned Justin when he was sixteen. Good variation on canon.

Will Justin meet Brian in Florida?

Author's Response:

I wrote them as 18 but very sheltered so they wouldn't go without permission. And yes about that last thing.

I like the glimpses of Justin growing up, being a brat at times--just like any other kid.

Carl's a great father. He's determined to figure out how to pay for St. James for Justin since Daphne and Justin are attached at the hip. :)

I really liked the character Carl so glad it worded so wel.

Intriguing AU! I'm very interested in Carl, rather than Craig, as Justin and Molly's father.

I really like that Daphne's mom is the one who help rescue them at the park. I suspect Justin's lifelong friendship with Daphne is about to begin. :)

Author's Response:

I liked adding her mom into the story.
