Brian should be proud that Justin followed his advice. It should show him how much Justin trusts him and values his opinion. Although, if Brian wouldn't have suggested that, I still think Justin would have done that. I don't think it's in his character to lie like that.

I can just hear Michael's harsh words and bad comments that will surely be coming.

That is some back story if you ask me. Totally unexpected, which is nice. I have to wonder who Justin got caught with? Hopefully, it wasn't the dreadful Ian. The way I see it, it was the guy that Justin was with that got the pictures.
