Oops! I'm finally getting around to responding to reviews and just realized I started with the most recent ones for this chapter.

Thanks for the lovely compliment about my writing, Marilynne. :) It always makes me feel good when some says I write well.

As you know by now, it was only the first chapter that concentrated on Brian, Gus, and Mel. There may be more of them in the future, though. A sequel of sorts is in the works, but it probably won't be out before the holidays next year. Just couldn't manage it in time for Thanksgiving this year.

I'm thrilled you enjoyed my twist on what might've happened post-canon.
