Oh Lord, the Kip debacle has more to it... it will be interesting to see what Lindsay and Michael had to do with that, especially since Justin beat Kip at his own game.
You wrote the part about Lindsay so clearly, I had no problem seeing her outrage on her face. I got a few chuckles out of her meeting with John. She definitely needs someone holding the whip that should keep her mouth and antics in check.
So, I hope there's a sister chapter next, updating us on Michael's horror, letting us know how his marriage is going. :D

I don't think I've ever had that sick of a roiling in my stomach as when I read that!
Touché to Justin both for calmly and professionally dealing with Mack: No fighting or screaming. Especially when the real reason was that Brian wouldn't sleep with him. If that guy thought the way to advance was by sleeping with Brian, he was so very wrong. Been there, done that.
I can just imagine the looks and expressions on everybody's face.

Can I just say that the title of this chapter made me giggle before I even started reading it? It’s classic.
Michael, Michael, Michael... just give it a rest for a little while. You aren’t gonna have “words” with Tracy, as that will get you nowhere, but another “threat” of reduced money at the end. And if you think that 50k is the way to go about getting Brian, you really never knew your “best friend.” Justin never got Brian because he had money. To get and keep Brian he had intelligence and an adorable butt, contrary to which you have neither. You know, it’s strange that Michael and Lindsay have never considered that they had YEARS to get Brian to marry one of them, and yet, Brian never gave them a second thought. So, how is fifty grand gonna make a difference? And the line: I’m a grown man and the way she treats me is as if I’m a child being grounded, had me in giggles. And the fact Michael THINKS he can LEARN to be a well-bred individual has me giggling again.
Hmm... for Michael thinking Justin is a whore, well, he isn’t paid money to sleep with anyone, so Michael needs to really take an evaluation of what and it is that he’s doing.

Lindsay’s kind of in the same predicament as Michael, only I doubt that’s public knowledge since Nancy set that up. I can hardly wait for the behind-the-closed doors of their new lives to be revealed.
Sounds like this Mack Anderson is a steaming kettle waiting for the lid to shoot off. I’m very aware of jealousy issues within the workplace. I saw it many times when I was an Asst. Manager at a Holiday Inn. Employees just don’t seem to realize how many different things are considered before filling a position. And it’s definitely not just based on years in the company.
I just don’t see how that meeting can be anything but heated. I just hope Justin can keep a lid on his anger. At least he’s got Murph in his corner. But Brian will probably be present and can help control things too.

I hadn’t read any of the chapters in this installment yet. It’s easy to tell just when I was sick, as I would never NOT read one of your chapters, or not left a review. So this one was interesting so to say,
It appears that Brian and Justin almost have their hands too full between DPAA and starting Kinnetik. I don’t see how they have much extra time for playing. A marriage that doesn’t play, doesn’t stay.
I’m wondering if the guys will ever find out widdle Mikey was – more or less – blackmailed into marrying Tracy. Does she have him doing all the housekeeping and laundry? Maybe living with Mommy wouldn’t have been so bad, after all.
It’ll be interesting to see if Ted and possibly Emmett end up in California too.

Michael is exactly where he needs to be in Pittsburgh away from Brian who isn't thinking about him at all, he tied himself to Tracey who had all the power and he is getting exactly what he deserves... Well almost!
Michael couldn't even fit in world without Brian so how can he fit in the world Justin came from he will never understand that it takes more then good manners and money to keep Brian in love with Justin.
Brian didn't keep Lindsay around for het connections especially since none of those supposed connections helped him with his career, he thought they were friends but that like Lindsay's dreams was just an Illusion!!

Brian laid out the bare bones of his relationship with Justin and he is happy with the direction his life is going now there will be bumps and harsh words said with deep regret but Brian isn't running from faite anymore, he is embracing that this is His Life to Live and the only opinion that matters besides his own is Justin the man he married and enjoys being tied to metaphorically and physically.
Deb, Michael and Lindsay can enjoy Neverland because they refuse to grow up but Brian is taking a new journey and he doesn't need hanger-oners riding his coattails until he dies.
Michael, Lindsay and Deb are about to experience what life is like without Brian to fix or blame for their problems and without any safety nets since Ted, Emmett and Vic are off making their own dreams come true.
Brian and Justin have only been in California for a month and already they are rising to esteemed heights and they are still interviewing for employees, imagine what they will be like in a year when they are fully staffed and still need more people.I
Melanie and Gus will be happy for a fresh start and the chance to make new and better memories with Brian and Justin.
I can't wait to see what happens to everyone as they either move forward to a better life or fall further behind to an old life that has past them by.
