I was impressed with this, and another arc where the shows writer's definitley should have gotten input from viewers.

There have been so many gapfillers written for this particular moment in canon. I have written a few myself, but I just felt inspired to do this one at the time. I wish it had gone this way too.

It's true that this episode was "open" for new ending and this one is especially good!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked it. This particular episode has inspired me, and I know many other writers to put a happier spin on it. I think in the actual episode we could sense what was to come, but it would be a perfect moment for them at that time.

If only this was how it was portrayed.  Brian and Justin together is how it should always be.  I enjoyed the one shot.
