Two boys. How wonderful. Somehow it feels good that Gus, Jason, Brian and Justin will have boys to deal with rather than girls. I am a girl "mama" so I was happy that I got my girl. My sister is a boy "mama" and she has 2 boys and she said that girls made her nervous when she was young. We both agreed that we would have been happy either way and we loved our niece and nephews completely. Absolutely fantastic writing as always. I know there is more to Heather than we have seen so far. Why do I feel that she has lost her family in some way. Can't wait to see what you have planned as the story continues. Have a wonderful weekend. I am rooting for the Chiefs in the Super Bowl so that will determine if my weekend ends up great or sad. LOL
Author's Response:
From the time I was quite young, I always wanted to have a son. I was blessed with only one child, and she was a girl. Then my girl had two children and they were both girls. One of my granddaughters has declared she does not want any children but the other hopes to be a Mom someday. I have asked for a great-grandson, but I'll be over the moon with either a girl or boy. That's okay, because in my stories I can have all the boys I ever wanted. LOL!
You are the first person to ever mention that theory about Heather and her family. There is definitely more to Heather than meets the eye, and I can promise you some answers in the next chapter. Thank you so much for your insightful comments, Mamab. Huge hugs, Grammy
P.S. My Mom was the only football fan in our family. When she was with us, I had to watch every year. Haven't watched a single one since, but I do love the commercials they come up with. Hope your team wins. Good luck.

Oh what a cliffhanger. Still do not believe Heather's story. Something is not right. Love this story and twins is great. Fantastic writing as always.
Author's Response:
It seems that everyone is having doubts about Heather, but I can assure you that she will make Gus and Jason parents. The whole story behind her offer is coming soon. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments, Mamab. Huge hugs, Grammy
Date: Jan 17, 2020 10:04 pm Title: Baby Making Time
I have fears that the family of Heather does not actually exist. Hopefully my fears are unfounded.
Author's Response:
In some ways, your fears of Jerry and Steven not being a part of Heather's life are indeed unfounded, but the full story will soon be revealed in coming chapters. First comes the joy over the upcoming birth of Gus and Jason's twins. Wonderful comments, Sandy. Thank you very much. Huge hugs, Grammy

It seems strange that Gus and Jason always miss Heather's husband and her son. I wonder who called and said he was her husband. Things just don't sound right.
Author's Response:
I can promise you that Jerry does exist, but more on him later on. Also, Steven is very much a part of Heather's life and the direct reason for her offer to Gus and Jason. More about that too is coming soon. Thank you so much for the great comments, YumYum. Huge hugs, Grammy
Date: Jan 12, 2020 4:49 am Title: Making a Decision
I'm still wondering where Stevie will fit in. Nine months is a long time and where will her son be while she's pregnant? What is it she hopes to gain?
Author's Response:
Young Steven is very much a part of Heather's reason for making her generous offer. The next chapter will explain how the whole thing works with Heather being with the boys to help make the baby they long for, and also spending time at home in California. What Heather hopes to gain will become quite clear very shortly. Thank you so much for such great comments, YumYum. Huge hugs, Grammy

Great update, but I really, really do not trust Heather. Please don't break Gus and Jason's heart again. Wonderful writing. Hope all is well, my friend.
Author's Response:
Apparently no one trusts Heather completely. Only time will tell if the doubts have a basis for what is really going on with Heather. In the meantime, Gus and Jason are beginning to see her as the answer to their prayers and worth the risk. More on that coming up shortly. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments, Mamab. Huge hugs, Grammy

I want Gus to be happy, but I think Jason has some serious concerns that they need to figure out.
Author's Response:
Gus will never do anything that Jason doesn't approve of, so they will definitely work this situation out between them before giving Heather their final answer. The next chapter will tell us what they have decided. Thank you so much for your comments. Huge hugs, Grammy
Date: Jan 04, 2020 2:25 am Title: A Visit from the Past with an Offer for the Future
Wow, great story. Hope that she is sincere and not pulling some sort of con on them. Wonderful writing.
Author's Response:
Only the future will reveal what truly prompted Heather to come back into Gus's life and make such a generous and life-changing offer. Thank you so much for the great comments, Mamab. Huge hugs, Grammy
Date: Jan 04, 2020 12:33 am Title: A Visit from the Past with an Offer for the Future
I can understand Jason's worry, but I think you have a good idea going here. But just where will Heather by while carrying this baby and how will she explain things to her son?
Author's Response:
Heather's offer may prove to be exactly what Gus and Jason need to start their own family. As for Heather, she will always have her son uppermost in her mind as she moves forward with her offer. He will always be the most important person in her life. Huge hugs, Grammy
Date: Jan 03, 2020 9:38 pm Title: A Visit from the Past with an Offer for the Future
As the chapter unfolded I thought yay Gus and Jason will get their baby, but the last part where Jason needs to look deeper makes sense his thoughts seem valid. I look forward to seeing where this goes.
Author's Response:
Jason is wary only because he knows the history between Gus and Heather, but Gus is a trusting soul. Hopefully Jason's mind will be at peace with whatever they decide to do with the offer. Hugs, Grammy

I guess we will find out what Heather needs, just hope that Gus doesn't get distracted for too long.
Author's Response:
You don't need to worry about Gus. Nothing would ever distract Gus from Jason and their desire for a family of their own. And yes, Heather will reveal the purpose of her visit in the next chapter, which is coming up quite soon. Thank you for commenting. Huge hugs, Grammy

Great chapter. Love the grown up Gus. Wonderful writing. Happy New Year to you.
Author's Response:
Thank you so much, Mamab, and may 2020 bring you much happiness. Gus has grown into a very responsible and loving man, much of it thanks to his upbringing and being surrounded by love all his life. He has the same beautiful heart that Brian has. Huge hugs, Grammy
Date: Dec 28, 2019 6:01 pm Title: A Voice From the Past
Can't wait to find out what Heather wants. Will it help Gus and Jason with their problem?
Author's Response:
Heather definitely has a reason for showing up after such a long time with no communication. And it will definitely affect Gus and Jason in the future. Huge hugs, Grammy

I love the name. Great job and so happy you are writing again.
Author's Response:
I am so glad that you liked the baby's name. It is wonderful to hear from you again. Thankfully my muse has returned to me and I've been able to get back to this long-delayed story. I hope you will enjoy it all the way to the final ending. Warmest hugs, Grammy

Such a nice party. Love the name.
Author's Response:

What a wonderful chapter. Love the name. Just perfect. Fantastic writing as always. I hope you have a very nice Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year.
Author's Response:
I'm so pleased that you approve of the new baby's name, Mamab. I thought that having some kind of tribute to her mothers was what JR would do. Thank you so much for all your supportive comments, and may you have a beautiful Christmas time with your family and friends, as well as a happy and healthy New Year too. Warmest hugs, Grammy
Date: Dec 14, 2019 1:14 am Title: The Arrival of Melody Linn
Darn I forgot to read the title. No Jenny Rebecca, Jr. Oh, well. When do Gus and his hubby finally get their change to make Brian and Justin grandparents?
Author's Response:
I hope you do like the name JR and Noah have chosen for their baby girl, YumYum. Hold on for just a bit longer... Gus and Jason are certainly meant to be parents. Maybe fate will be kind to them in the future. Huge hugs, Grammy

Wonderful chapter. Great story. I love this story so much. It makes me laugh and oh, yeah, it makes me cry. Fantastic writing.
Author's Response:
What wonderful compliments, Mamab. Thank you so much. If a story can tug at your heartstrings, then my job is being done correctly. I'm so glad you are enjoying this story. More coming up very soon. Huge hugs, Grammy
Date: Dec 06, 2019 7:21 pm Title: Flying the Friendly Skies Back Home
Wonderful update. Love your stories so much. Fantastic writing.
Author's Response:
Thank you so much, Mamab. I am so glad that you find my stories interesting, and I hope I will continue to entertain you with how this story progresses. More coming up very shortly. Huge hugs, Grammy

Even arriving home early Brian and Justin make a splash. Shame about Noah's mom.
Author's Response:
Our boys do have a tendancy to be the glue that makes everyone around them excited about life. Must be the fact that they enjoy life so much themselves, even when travelling in a plane. Noah's Mom will probably always regret the way she has let her husband control her life and her relationship with all three of her sons. Only the old man's passing might free her to be the kind of mother she should have been all along. Huge hugs, Grammy
Date: Nov 30, 2019 1:03 am Title: Looking Back on the Darkness
Very interesting chapter. Why is Gus in a wheelchair? And an author! I know there is a baby, in fact two of them in the future just can't wait to find out how.
Author's Response:
Hi YumYum. I'm sorry you misunderstood what I meant when I said wheeled chair. I was referring to an office type chair on wheels. And although Gus is a wonderful teacher, he always dreamed of being a writer. In a way he takes after his Dad, Brian, who is a writer in his own way with his creative ads. Both of them are great successes, which is no surprise to anyone who knows them.
You are right about the babies, but getting there won't be easy. A lot more on that in upcoming chapters. I hope you will enjoy them. Huge hugs, Grammy

Wonderful update. How sad for Gus and Jason. Tissue time. Terrific writing.
Author's Response:
Thank you so much, Mamab. I'm afraid that there will be a number of times when tissues will be needed, but I promise a light at the end of the dark tunnel. More coming up very shortly. Huge hugs, Grammy
Date: Nov 23, 2019 12:34 am Title: Something to Look Forward To
So glad to see the To be continued...... While it's nice that JR and her hubby are going to be parents, I'm more interesting in the double trouble Grandparents part of this story.
Author's Response:
Hi YumYum, and thank you for your comments. There is a lot more to this story. It will be primarily centered around Gus and Jason's desires to make their parents grandparents too, just as JR and Gidge have already done. And of course, Brian and Justin will always be there for them as they struggle to succeed in this important goal. More of the story coming up very shortly. Warm hugs, Grammy

So happy that you decided to continue this wonderful series. It is already fantastic and it is just starting. Hope all is well with you. You know I love all your stories. If you celebrate, have a great Thanksgiving.
Author's Response:
Thank you so much for joining me with this final part of the DT saga, Mamab. I hope you will enjoy the journey through life with Brian and Justin as Grandparents. It is going to be a fun ride, but with a few bumps in the road to deal with too. And thank you for your Thanksgiving wishes. I hope you have a lovely one too if you celebrate. Huge hugs, Grammy
