I wanted to highlight a few parts that are very revealing of Lindsay's way of thinking. You are absolutely right in your analysis.
Unfortunately for Gus, Lindsay hadn't really thought about the true commitment of parenting.
Her career was important and it was evident to Brian that both women really liked the idea of parenthood more than the reality.
This one is the nail I prefer because it shows that she has time to read for herself and not for Gus: Lindsay was sitting on the couch reading a magazine
Tell me, Justin, do people really think children stay babies forever?

Thank you. I always beleived that Lindsay was more about Brian being the father of her child than that she wanted a child.

Michael does not see beyond age 14 when he and Brian made up the Brian and Mikey show. Sad that he still looks at him as the partier,eventhough he is now a father.

Ok, sorry, just a point: during this story, you have JR's age ranging from 5 to 7 to 8, without the timeline changing. I really did love this story when I read it on MW, but this timeline thing bugged me. I know it is hard to remember what you have written in back chapters, when you leave gaps in updating. But perhaps you could correct it here?
