Brian, Justin and Ian would be smart to just make sure Mel doesn't try to see Lindsay cause Lindsay is no ready to face Me just yet, that will take more time Mel did a lot damage and Lindsay can't face her right now.
Mel Hit Jenny and Deb Didn't Beat Her Down?!?!?!!!
Mel is losing all her power but she isn't losing the ability to blame others for her continuous screw ups this may have been the first time she hit Jenny but it wouldn't have been the last since Jenny is fighting back and challenging all her plans to stay in control.I
I always thought Deb was wrong to slap Brian she screwed up her relationship with Vic and Brian's reaction while inappropriate was a son grieving for the only true father he ever knew. (Always hated that scene and it was one of many of how others treated Brian while later running to him to solve their problems),
Jenny remembers Ben as someone who loved her unconditionally while Mel and Michael either used her or forgot about her entirely.
Patrick is quite a water stole surprised Brian entered the competition which sounds fun and would've had Michael screaming in anguish.
Michael shouldn't try to be clever his one brain cell is qualified to perform that function it is barely keeping Michael's head from caving in due to lack of oxygen,so Michael forked himself while trying to one up David who has left him to sink by himself in the mud.
I guess that means Hank left too?

As for Jenny, she's not out of the woods yet, but with what Carl witnessed, Mel doesn't stand a fat chance, even with a good lawyer.

Lindsay is finding her was out of Wonderland and she is slowly seeing that yeah the real world may be a scary place but t can be a wonderful place too with good people who defeat the bad.
Mel may have broken Lindsay's spirit but she didn't douse the fire inside her that is fighting through the fog of mental abuse to find her Brand New Path.
Drew and Emmett are ready to walk the path of life together instead of apart no longer will they let fear and doubt get in the way...Good For Them!
Patrick and Taylor are Cute and besides Taylor Taylor-Kinney sounds Adorable!! And is Quite a Tongue Twister lol
Thomas is more than a pretty face and he just showed David that Henry didn't settle for a toy but a man who enjoys hiding his light under a bushel to see the truth behind others words.
Compared to Thomas Michael isn't even good enough for the kids table and Michael is nothing more but a whiny, self-indulgent baby who still hasn't matured past twelve.
Michael thinks he is still fourteen waiting for Brian to come finish that long forgotten hand-job but he is actually twelve living in his comic book world before Brian came into his life.
David took a brat and tried to make him into a man that to others Michael is best he could do in a good day.
David lost this battle because it wasn't with Brian who didn't care about Michael beyond friendship but with Michael who would never become a prince no matter how many shopping trips or expensive vacations you gave him.
Besides Just would never be with David he already had a father who tried to control his life and force him to hide his Very Bright Light, no way would just settle for living in David's mediocre shadow when he stood side by side with Brian and casted quite a light himself.
Henry donating money to any charity Deb chooses shows that he will not fall for pretty words again and that he is the last person David should ever think to cross.

Michael, Michael... you let out that drama queen that's in your DNA. I'm so proud of Deb and her voicing what she knew about the venom that David spewed. I wonder if his employer will want to keep him on... David will see his friendship with the man means nothing, when the man chooses to protect his business, and lets David go. Is it too much for me to hope that when Michael gets out of the diner and tries to escape in his jeep... that they have either had the air let out... or that they are slashed? FANTASTIC CHAPTER!!! Michael's reaction was EVERYTHING I could have hoped for. And then Deb and the Diner's mercenary tactics in getting Michael to voice his venom in regards to his machinations, and finishing with the KICKER... that Deb tell Brian that David was a mistake. WHOO-HOO!!! I can't wait for all those posts the Gay Grapevine have going to reach David. Is it too much to hope that it's Thomas who gets the pleasure of spilling the beans?
Both David and Michael are already ruined in the court of public opinion... and now it's Mel's turn! I do believe bringing in Gabriel is an automatic WIN for Team Jenny. And with Ben and Hunter's testimony added to denote the vicious games she and Michael played with people's lives all in an effort to have control... well, let's just say that I don't feel the least bit sorry that Karma is coming for her pound of their financially broke asses!

It is scary that Mel is acting like Lindsay if she could get Brian to play by her rules and the sad thing is that in her quest to have complete control over everyone she set herself up to be controlled by David and is in the process of losing her family any what little respect her kids could ever have for her.
What else besides money has Mel so twisted around David's finger that she didn't once try to get him and Michael to pay more in child support?
Ben and Hunter are stepping up to help Gus and Jenny while also showing The Three Blind Mice that they are going to wish they hadn't started this battle with pebbles because boulders are heading to smash their glass houses.
Time to Follow The Money!
Wonder how David is going to react when he finds out Brian and Justin are getting married and Michael's blow up in the diner?
Also how is he and his benefactor going to feel when the money stops flowing into his practice and he is Blacklisted? (Five seconds before his benefactor is running to the door)

Seeing as I am up so very late tonight (it's after 2 AM)... I figured it was time to catch up on this.
I thoroughly enjoyed the visit with Lindsay... and as a sufferer from depression... Ian is right about how they look at your past. Although, I was fine after my four kids were born, after a drunk broke my neck in three places, and I had to give up a lucrative job and stop with the 60 hour weeks, I sunk deep! But it was a fun visit... memories of the Wolfman was a nice ice breaker. I enjoyed that part of the show. I don't think Emmett was ever so embarrassed about having sex!
The fact that Lindsay wants to help and go to the wedding... is HUGE! Good for her! Maybe the support from Debbie, Emmett, and Ted will go along way in her healing process.
Mel's telephone conversation was enlightening. Ben does hold a few cards... and as I said earlier... I hope the truth is revealed and Jenny can resume a life with him. ooh... I would love for Maaaa... to learn what else her little boy did! The fact he and David told Hunter he would ALWAYS be a hustler... is so very low!
And is Michael ever living in the life of delusion! He hasn't heard from Brian for fourteen years... and yet he thinks Brian wanted the night in bed and actually wanted him, and he's denying himself now. I suppose in Michaels deluded mind... Brian is celibate while waiting to reconnect with him. And he thinks it accomplished getting Justin out of their lives... if he only knew. He shouldn't have pissed Mel off... she might have told him about the upcoming nuptials. Is that ever going to put a crimp in his plans. And seriously... David gave into getting the jeep? He only wanted one to feel closer to Brian. I hope he enjoyed being a trick the one night with Brian... because that's what he was... Brian only does his tricks ONCE! And how very funny he's on Viagra in order to get it up for his old man.
It was also nice knowing I wasn't too far off the mark about Michael wanting Jenny around Gus... therefore Brian. But, wouldn't it be funny... if when she talked to Michael... she REFUSED to say anything regarding Uncle Brian?

Lindsay had a good visit with Justin, Gus, Deb and Emmett she was able to laugh and smile and she realized when it was time to step back and just let everything be cause she had a Good Day.
Yeah Lindsay dealing with depression then post partum depression is why Melanie was so able to manipulate and destroy her so easily plus being in Canada with no support except two small children who don't really understand is so sad.
Michael is in exactly the situation he deserves because with all his references that Justin would never amount to anything and that Brian didn't want him that he was Dead Wrong.
Justin overcame Michael's small thinking and now is about to marry the man who owned his heart when he was seventeen, while Michael is nothing more than a trick and the best David could get in a good day.
Brian treated Michael like a trick and Michael refuses to admit to it cause that would burst his bubble.
Hell Michael didn't even get why Brian is A Stud because whay Brian did Michael to is answer a What If and realized it should've been a Never Was.
Is David's new benefactor up to something shady and that is why David is so enamored of his money because he is in bed too deep?
Melanie would be stupid to take this to arbitration or court all secrets will come out and remain on the record Forever!
Michael isn't enjoying being on the receiving end of the things he did to Justin for Years but it funny to have him grin and bear it cause unlike Justin he isn't fit for anything else.
Ian and Gus fighting to save Jenny is going to be quite a battle but they have Family, Love and Strength to help save Jenny from the machinations of three very selfish people who are only concerned for themselves and not how their actions affect Jenny.

OMG! I can't wait for the bubble of self-delusion to burst all over Michael's ignorant head! He and David definitely deserve each other, and moreso they both DESERVE Mel! I hope that all three of them have their secrets exposed in the most public ways possible. It looks like Gus and Ian will need to file for custody a lot sooner than they expected. With two wolves (Mel and David) and a vulture by the name of Michael circling, Jenny is going to end up an asbolute emotional wreck!
You know it's a 'Bad Nik Day' when I'm actually applauding a Bully, and Thomas is most certainly that. But it's just Michael getting his just desserts since just the way he thought Brian had lowered himself to be with Justin (and said/implied so on more than one occasion), now he's understanding exactly what it's like to have to swallow the insult, grin and bear the brunt of it silently. But unfortunately in Michael's case, Thomas was absolutely CORRECT in all he said, while Michael was dead wrong in his opinions of Justin. Which is blatantly obvious by Justin's success, as opposed to Michael's uselessness as a human, much less a husband. I think someone should finally call David out for adopting his own trick, because that's exactly what Michael's Viagara-guzzling ass is... A TRICK THAT WOULDN'T GO AWAY!
The visit with Lindsay was both heartbreaking and hopeful! I'm glad that Deb made sure Lindsay knew she didn't want to do anything in that moment but love her. Emmett is absolutely adorable. I actually laughed aloud with the rest of them when Lindsay brought up the Wolfman! It was always one of my favorite 'side-note' scenes of the show. That and the Em/Carl scene at the refrigerator stick out as some of the most comical and uncomfortable scenes of the series to me.
I can't wait for the next chapter; this is all such O-M-GOODNESS!!

Mel really loves denial because she is refusing to see the part she plays in anything in her life, perhaps Brian and Justin are to blame for why she is about to lose her license to practice law, plus this could follow her cause no law firm will touch her once they find out something like this can't be kept a secret for long.
Gus and Ian wanting to take in Jenny to show her what a family is and that love has no conditions except one which He Happy.
It is going to take time for Lindsay to find her way but perhaps seeing everyone else will help make it easier to live in the present.
I see Michael and David playing each other while not seeing that they both lost when they said I Do to each other, but then again perhaps two selfish people really do deserve to live in misery together.
Makes me wonder how Hank is enjoying this dynamic of living with a forever child and the father who likes to be in control?
Ben and Hunter deserve to be Happy and if that means they have to be away from everyone else I wish them the best.
Karma is getting her outfit together because when it time for some serious payback a girl has to be the best dressed in the room lol

Ooh... good update. Thank you for not making me cry during this chapter. Crying tends to gives me headaches, which seems a common factor after my accident.
Anyway... you sure wove Mel's downfall to perfection. She always has hated men, but the lengths she went to, are shameful. Regardless of the fact that it was Canadian Law, I would think a betrayal like that would follow her no matter what country she tried to practice in. She just might find it very difficult to practice law anywhere, ever again. The fact that now she wants to make Jenny believe Gus is going to choose Ian over her... the same that she used on Gus and Jenny as kids in regards to Lindsay, makes me think the witch is a little unhinged. Why hurt your children like that? So, that said, I really hope Gus and Ian go to court to fight for custody. When everything is disclosed in court... Mel's and Michael's manipulations, Mel's unorthodox law practices, (therefore having no money) and not to mention... I'm almost certain her anger issues will spike in court... Well, to me it should be a no-brainer. And at sixteen, I think Jenny's wishes will hold a lot of weight with the judge. Mel can try and blame everything on Brian and therefore Justin, but NOBODY is going to buy that.
I'm assuming the fact that Justin had told Michael he wanted to discontinue Rage, is why Michael wanted JT killed - besides the fact that if JT was killed he could have Rage and Zephyr fly off into the sunset and settle in Palm Springs.
It is a really, REALLY a scary thought that Michael - in some underhanded way - is really manipulating David behind the scenes. Did he make something up about Jenny and then telling David that's why Ben walked away and didn't want anything to do with her? Is Michael the one that wants them in Florida - so that Jenny - and therefore Gus - can't have anything to do with Brian? All scary thoughts - but I put NOTHING past him. But, I thank the heavens that Deb found out what Michael said WAY back at the anniversary party... that had to shock her, and then to know Michael put those same words in Gus' head to be spoken TO Justin, yeah... her baby isn't very innocent. I'm glad Ben and therefore Hunter - walked away from the family. Hunter probably thought he traded a good-for-nothing mother, for a worse good-for-nothing father (in Michael.) I know I asked before... but I have to wonder if anyone knows the deal Michael made with Ben... maybe Hunter does... yes... let that be so... because when the wedding of the century takes place, Hunter can spew that knowledge to Jenny - and therefore anyone else within earshot. I don't think Daddy Dearest will look too good in Jenny's eyes (or anyone else for that matter.)

The confrontation wasn't as bloody as I expected, which is good because Brian wouldn't have had too much patience.
Mel's arguments regarding Jenny's conversion are so bad: how could she think Gus would agree to follow her and encourage Jenny to do it. I don't think Mel is even an observant Jew (I'm not sure of the translation) as we never saw her going to a temple. Knowing Jenny's character, I doubt she will ever bend to Mel's wish. Her other huge problem is her constant "money" argument. She is unable to think that people can stay together for any other reason.
I can't wait to see how big a display Brian will provide during Justin's show.
