Author's Response: Aww, thank you! And yes, I love just straight "friendship" fics without drama. I like to think as the gang continued in the future -- especially as their geographic distance increased -- they took advantage of opportunities to hang out together and enjoy the time, vs. constant sniping over little things. So glad you liked it!

Never have I ever read such a fun story of the game. No arguments or fights just plain funny drunk people. Terrific idea and wonderful writing.

And I understand your concern, but I think Ted continued to drink socially throughout the series, once his recovery stabilized, so while I imagine he and Blake don't likely drink at home (since Blake never has in canon), he would still be safe to have a few cocktails or beers when out with his friends (who obviously care about his well-being and would caution against if it were a concern). Plus, in my mind, Ted is a connoisseur of fine dining, so I can't imagine him exploring the NYC culinary scene without wine tasting as well :)
