Great ending. A lovely holiday story. The sex in the kitchen was fun to read and I could imagine it happening. Love the gift choices for Brian; Justin really knows what to get him to make him happy. Even the banter between the adults discussing but not discussing the sexcapades was awesome. Great job.
Author's Response:
Thank you! <3 The kitchen scene with the cake was all PTW...haha. And it had been planned basically since the cake was enjoyed the first time. ;) So glad you enjoyed the story! - TI

What a fantastic chapter. Love when our boys are happy and there is no drama to ruin things Terrific writing. And, one final Merry Christmas for this year. Thank you for this wonderful story.
Author's Response:
Thank you! We had a lot of fun writing the story, and we're really glad you all loved reading it just as much! Hope you had a happy holiday as well! - TI

Brian is always honest with his family and this one made me laugh: "a fucking traffic cone".
The trip to Europe should be great for father and son: they deserve some quality time together.
The gift from Justin to Brian is showing how much Justin knows Brian and how deep the impact would be. It won't erase the years of yearning, but it might help soothing the pain. It surprising that Brian is telling this part of his youth, showing how wounded he still is.
The permanent innuendos are really funny. Poor Gus, having to listen and witness his parents' hotness and closeness. Even Lindsay with her "crabs" line, so unWASP!
Author's Response: I think in our minds, this group has developed a dynamic where they can all truly be *themselves* around each other, so Brian can open up more, Lindsay can be more improper, the innuendos can fly, and the love can be loud. So glad you enjoyed this :) -PTW

A fantastic Christmas. I feel like crying for Brian's Christmas past's. Thank you for a wonderful look at Christmas in Toronto.
Author's Response: Thank you so much -- there's a little more to come! -PTW

Another great chapter with very funny exchanges. I love these:
“Brian’s put worse things in his mouth,”
“If you don’t keep it down, the entire damn house is gonna know that Santa isn’t the only one who came tonight,” Brian warned lowly.
Justin choked on a guffaw. “I can’t fucking believe you just said that.”
Gus is helping his dad making peace with his past Christmases.
Great reference to Toronto that can easily mimic somewhere like Pittsburgh.
Author's Response: Hehe thank you. I so appreciate when specific "likes" are mentioned. And lol! I was proud of that line, so I'm glad you liked it! :) -PTW

I really love their banter and teasing! Poor Gus, having to witness their constant innuendos while he can't act like them. It would be fun to see how Brian reacts while Gus is displaying some heavy PDA.
Author's Response: Haha, that is a great idea... I'm sure Brian would have some sort of existential crisis. Pocketing that ;P -PTW

Great chapter. Love the reference to shows being shot in Toronto and able to make it look like other cities including Pittsburgh. Very creative idea. Wonderful writing. I love a happy Brian and Justin.
Author's Response: Thank you!! I was proud of that line ;) -PTW

So much sweets. I gained 5lbs. just reading it.

I am so glad Brian was able to give Gus a brief glimpse of his childhood and recognise what makes Brian who he is. It also cemented the love when Brian told him he wouldn’t want to be anywhere but with him aw.
Author's Response: I think Brian has found a love he never knew he was capable of feeling with Gus -- and we love that Gus loves and respects his father just as much. Thanks for reading!! -PTW

Great chapter. Love that they are so happy. Wonderful writing.
Author's Response:
Thank you! :) Even though I (TI) am for sure a lover of drama...the fluff is fun sometimes too. <3

Great chapter. It is good to see a grown up Gus even under bad circumstances. Wonderful writing.
Author's Response:
Thank you! We love writing teenage guys, and we're glad you guys enjoy reading about him too! - TI

Lindsay does seem rather dense but Mel catches on fast. At least Gus has allies in Jennifer, Justin and Brian.
Author's Response: I think Lindsay just wanted to believe Gus would be more open with her, but he’s definitely got both of his moms firmly on his side now. And to be fair, Gus had intentionally not given Lindsay and Melanie any details, so they didn’t have a lot to go on besides him being stubborn. All is well now! Thanks, as always, for reading and commenting! -PTW

Poor Gus! Thank you Jennifer for the wise feedback!
Author's Response: Jennifer has been through it all with 17 year old sons, and she made sure to learn from the experience. I love that it allows for her and Justin to be as close as they are now (Brian and Jennifer too!) Thanks for reading!! -PTW

It's "funny" how Lindsay is so WASP in her behaviour while Justin just goes with the flow of Brian's not so discreet solicitations.
It's great to see how Lindsey and Brian are playful.
I love how Brian's BS detector found out the actual reason for Gus' refusal to go brunching.
I love how you created this atmosphere that feels like real-life.
Author's Response:
No teenage boy would ever claim to hate desserts, right? ;) LOL We're so happy to hear that the story feels like real life! What a great compliment -- thank you! - TI

Great chapter. Love thinking what Gus would be like as a teenager. So much Brian, but that little bit of Linds would make him so interesting. Terrific writing. Hope you had a nice holiday.
Author's Response:
Yes, we think it's so fun to imagine which parts of himself he would have inherited from each parent...and also what traits might he have picked up from Mel and Justin as well. Glad you enjoyed the chapter! - TI

Brian understands Gus better than Lindsay. So just how do they solve the problem of the reservation?
Author's Response:
The conclusion to the reservation conundrum has now been posted! ;) - TI

What a great chapter. Brian will finally have good holiday memories and it will help ease the pain of the past one. Fantastic writing.
Author's Response:
He's trying his best to get past all of that, and he has lots of support to help him. Glad you enjoyed the chapter! - TI

This is turning into an enjoyable Christmas. The girls seem much freer and enjoying themselves. Jennifer is turning back time and finding out that her grandson is interested in learning from her. Brian is finally letting go of the childhood from hell.
Author's Response:
There will be some drama, yet to come, but overall our intention is to write something fluffy with little notes of hurt/comfort mixed in with the holiday warmth. ;) Thanks for reading and reviewing! - TI
