I always wondered if Gus knew about Brian's childhood. Thank you for filling this lovely little tid bit of information in for us.

Wonderfully written and realistic description of how I see an older Brian with his teenage son. Great job. TAG
Author's Response:
Thank you! <3 I’m kind of liking mid-40s Brian myself. :) - TI

This was a great collaboration. I love slice of life stories. Just everyday occurences and how Justin and Brian get through them. Hope you guys colalborate again.
Author's Response:
Thanks! <3 We had so much fun writing it. Basically we set out to write a slice of life story in which I could also find some way to make Brian cry... ;) And I don't think anyone is going to have to twist our arms to get us to collaborate again! We are already talking about it. - TI

What a great story. You two did a fantatic writing job. It was fun seeing a grown up Brian having to deal with Gus.
Author's Response:
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! <3 It's interesting to imagine an older Gus and Brian doing his best to be a good father when he really has no framework for what that means other than what he wishes he might have had. - TI

I loved how the vulnerable side of "Mr I Dont Do Emotion" shined through, esepcially when he was talking with Gus. Growing pains are as hard on the parents as they are on the kids. Justin once again was the rock who helped smooth things over by being supportive while letting Brian and Gus work through things. Great story! Candy
Author's Response: We are suckers for Brian's vulnerable side! So glad you enjoyed this, we had such a great time writing it! Thank you!! -PTW

Amazing story! Such raw emotion and Brian so vulnerable in front of Gus. I had tears in my eyes while Brian got his.
Justin is such a wonderful human being, husband and father.
Thank you for sharing this!
Author's Response:
I'm really glad you liked it! It was a lot of fun to write, and I feel like we really got to show a lot of different sides of all three characters and their relationship with each other. <3 - TI

Brian and Gus will have bumps again but they will need because they love each other enough not to let it get too far out of hand, plus Justin will help in his way to smooth things over but he won't fix it because they have to make that move themselves.
That ending for me all teary-eyed.
Parents and kids all have growing pains but hopefully someday they can laugh about it later with shared fondness while wondering why it was blown so out of proportion.
Thank You for the Story:)
Author's Response:
Thanks for reading! "Cool dad" status was definitely restored in the end. ;) Justin was sort of acting as their "connector" in the story -- bringing them together but letting them sort it out themselves. Glad you liked it! - TI

A day in the life of a normal teenager. Brian's a lot better at this then he thinks.
Author's Response:
Indeed! He just really wants to do it right and is so scared he'll do it wrong that it gets in his way sometimes. Thanks for reading! - TI

Very well written! It's a real life situation and I love how you decided to write it. Definitely a great story. Thank you so much for sharing.
Author's Response:
Thanks! Our writing strengths are a good complement to each other, I think. I'm really glad that you loved the story! - TI
