First I want to say, it's always a happy day when I see an update from you. Second, as soon as I got to the end, I had to exit back out to check your 'pairings' tags. Alas, I have to say, you have given us readers no indication where this is going. So, a few things I can see happening here. Ben will be taken in by the puppy dog eyes, and throw caution to the wind, or two, maybe Ben will had an encounter with Brian in the past, (canon) and Brian will blow any preconceived notions from Ben's mind.  And boy, can't wait to see Michael's reaction, when he realizes Brian's 'had him'. Or maybe, just maybe, Ben will see the fawning Michael will do at the dinner towards him, for what it is. Trying to make Brian jealous. (latter would be good here.) Oh, and I've got an idea. Since you have plans to hook Emmett up with Drew again, (YAY!) -  ooh la la, Ben and Brandon can meet at Deb's dinner(or afterwards at Babylon), hit it off, and get together. Boy would that have widdle Mikey really scowling.

Loved the take you took on the reason for Blake leaving rehab.  And, oh yeah, I definitely caught Justin's reason to not want to have Mel and Lindsay for over for dinner that night. FIVE times, instead of FOUR?!  Well, Justin, I'm pretty sure Brian can do both.

Ouch, Thats Gotta Hurt! To hear from Brian's own lips that he may have said I Love You, but he never meant it...Look I bet that hurt Michael in the balls...if he had any?;)

Brian is throwing his old rule book out the window and letting Justin help him write a whole new book with rules specifically just for them.

Emmet stepping back and letting Ted make his own decisions concerning Blake is good for both of them, no need to ruin a friendship by channeling Michael's inner brat, giving advice when asked is ok but intentionally interfering will be very bad.I

Michael isn't even good enough to be called pathetic instead he is an Idiot who should seriously stop acting like he is two when he doesn't get his way and a fourteen year old who refuses to accept that his crush doesn't want him, Hell he never did!

Brian is moving past Michael's selfish behavior and finding his own Happiness with anyone who isn't Michael Charles Novotony and Brian chose Justin Taylor to make him happy.

Here I am, late to the party once again. I've been in bed with the flu, and haven't done any reading since New Year's Eve. So, I got up to remedy that tonight.

I was so happy to see an update from you. I've been waiting for this. I couldn't wait to see what would transpire after Emmett's make-over. And you didn't disappoint in the least. I was laughing before I got through the first paragraph. Poor Brandon.

I almost couldn't continue reading when I got to: Michael already had a house picked out in a classy neighborhood and dreams of the parties he planned to throw, showing off to everyone that he landed Brian Kinney. I was laughing so hard at the idiocy of the manchild. Here you have Justin just entering Babylon - in a trenchcoat, no less - and Brian rushing to him after the coat was taken off, and we have the village idiot dreaming of becoming monogamous with Brian.  Lord Help Me!!!

Then we got to the naked men bodily carrying Michael out of the backroom - let's just say, if I hadn't akready been sick, the laughter made me again, but in a different way. My god, Star. How do you write this stuff without bursting out laughing while writing??? Or, maybe you do, for all I know.

At least it sobered from there. Poor widdle Mikey. Big bad Emmett gave him a few truths. And I liked the way you wove the title of your story in there. But, I have to wonder if Michael will run to the loft after Brian and Justin leave, hoping to interrupt them.

As for Ted and Blake - Please let Ted get over his skepticism. They so deserve to be together. And do we have hope for Emmett and Brandon making a go of it?

I think I have the ideas as Justin: "seeing Brian naked was the goal of this evening"; if only!

Justin in leather might be an amazing view and the touch might be hot!

I hope that Ted and Blake will work their situation out the best way and become either great friends or true lovers.

Hey Star, first off I wanted to make you aware of my user name change. It was Bjluv, so at least you know who's reviewing your story, and that you won't think i've abandoned reading. It's what my user name is on my LJ account and MW.  All that said. . .

Gotta wonder who's all out after Michael with the paint balls. I doubt it's Lindsay, but I wouldn't put it past Deb to be spreading the word to anyone who would listen. I have to wonder how the idiot thought going to the cops would solve the problem, when he doesn't have the slightest idea who's behind it. Hmm, maybe Brandon or Emmett put a bug in someone's ear, too.

Lord have mercy, is Michael going to show up at Babylon or Woody's tonight and see Brian and Justin devouring each other? Because after Emmett gets through dressing Justin, he will be so yummy and delish, there is no way Brian will be able to keep playng at the abstinence game.

Emmett needs to realize that Yes needs a Good Friend not a Michael who would stand in Thebes of his Happiness, Ted and Blake need to talk without obstacles getting in their way it they may as well just give up.

Michael is going to seriously regret trying to hurt Justin and Blake while also trying to sabotage Brian's chance at True Happiness Brett Kellar and Connor James are not the kind of people to sit back and let their friends be hurt for petty reasons.

If course Michael constantly being shot with paintballs all over Liberty Avenue might keep him busy for a few hours or dropping paint on his head (Neon Orange, Bkue, Red, Green, Pink, Yellow would look good lol)

Emmett being distracted by making Justin beyond Gorgeous should keep him to busy to worry about Ted plus it will drive Michael crazy when Brian passes him by and sweeps Justin off his feet <giggles> and all of Liberty will be ablazed  with new gossip.

Wonder if Deb is one of the phantoms popping Michael in his flat ass? ;)
