Love this story.  It is so good seeing the guys as grown up family men.  Terrific idea and writing.

“Other than Colton, I stopped trying anymore,” Billy told him. Oh Wow! Powerful statement. Just goes to show how little love and trust Billy has grown up with.

“I hope Emmett and Drew are the kind of Dad you are,” Billy told him.  I'm sure that is the best compliment Brian has ever gotten in his life. Brian was so worried he would be a bad father and turn out like Jack Kinney, that Billy saying that, just goes to show what a wonderful father he has become.

It's great for Billy that Brian is sharing his old fears about love and trust.

Brian talking to Billy is just what was needed cause Billy can see that believing isn't such a bad thing, after all once Brian stopped fighting against Justin he happily accepted that Justin at seventeen was right to give him his heart and that Brian cat twenty-nine  was wrong to fight it.

Billy is allowing himself to reach for the moon and with Drew and Emmett he and Colton will touch the stars.

Love Can Never Be Denied!!!

Michael should be ashamed that his eight year old daughter told him off, as a supposed grown man he should stop expecting Brian to stop and wait for his opinion before he does anything.

Brian's life doesn't revolve around Michael Hell it never did and that Michael should keep his opinions to himself cause no one wants to hear it.

Besides who wants to listen to someone who refuses to face that he isn't the center of everyone's universe...Hell He Never Was!!!

And Michael's ' It Was A Joke or I Didn't Mean' has always been a lie when he is too much of a coward to stand by his statements, if he tries that around Jennifer she will eviscerate him.

Brian expressing that his office is Always open to his children shows that no matter what nothing is more important than his family.

Billy could be as smart as Justin or smarter but because he needs to protect Colton he refuses to shine his light and let's Colton own the spotlight, Drew continuous calling Billy his son is expressing to Billy that it is not just lip service Drew really wants to be apart of his life.

Hope is really blossoming in Billy's heart and that is Beautiful :)

Fantastic Update!

“I’m starting to believe again,”   Ohhh, Billy. What a wonderful day it turned out to be. And for Billy to have that kind of scholastc achievement, he needs to be somewhere special in order to excel. Maybe once Billy realizes this is for real, he can learn to let go a little with his need to always protect Colton. I know it will always be there, but Colton needs to learn to stand on his own at some point.

Well, I know they say the truth hurts. But is it enough to shut Michael up? As the saying goes, "A leopard can't change it's spots". So I have to wonder how long before Michael starts up again. Christ, if I would have ever had one of my kids at the tender age of eight make that profound statement towards me, I would have crawled under a rock and not got back out for a long time. And Michael better hope that he never makes a passing comment within Jen's hearing range. She's a ferocious mama bear who protects her cubs.

WOW! Is Brian Kinney really going to let Justin get a little kitten? I think Justin should ask Max which he would prefer, though. And I loved that even Brian's office is open 24/7 for the kids.

You have such memorable characters in what is fast becoming a memorable story. Your character's growth in this post-series story are admirable.

Yeah, Jenny.  Great chapter.  Love this story.

Brian indeed can move mountains for those he loves.

Billy will be a bit harder to convince but perhaps seeing the way Brian and Justin interact with Max will help, along with Emmett and Drew coming over as much as they can to show the boys that they are serious.

Max is so enjoying having all these new people in his life because Hope showed him that he wasn't forgotten.

Hope is starting to blossom in Billy's heart even though he is afraid to believe.

Deb like Michael should've thought before she spoke I understand she is excited but that excitement can sometimes lead to carelessness.

Emmett and Drew deserved the right to get know Billy and Colton for more than an hour or two before sitting down and explaining the situation about wanting to adopt them.

Michael should stay in his lane and worry about making more time for Jenny, instead of complaining about Brian and Justin who do more in a day for their kids then he could do in an hour <eye roll>

It's easy to act like Parent of the Year when everyone else does all the heavy lifting.

Smart of Drew and Emmett to have an attorney outside The Family I always worried and wondered considering Mel's jealousy and Lindsay's need to know everything about Brian that Mel would spill things that are confidential.

Ben could be wondering if He should Stay or Go with Michael time for some serious thinking.

Ted and Blake being parents is a good thing whichever route they choose to go they will be Wonderful.

I want Max to never give up on Hope because Hope guided him towards Justin and Brian.

TO HELL WITH MICHAEL AND HIS NEED TO DICTATE TO EVERYONE HOW TO LIVE THEIR LIVES!!!

His opinion is about as important as mosquito bite.

Brian and Justin have enough live for everyone so one more won't change  that.
