Sandy,
I love that they opened up to each other about all these things. This was a great story,

By talking they are continued to severe the ties that bind them to Michael, Lindsay, Ethan and anyone else who tried to destroy them.
Knowing that Michael and Lindsay are selfish people doesn't mean anyone could see the evil that resided in their heart, or how they gave good words but they really didn't understand what loving someone really means.
They both just felt if they used the words with the right inflection then they can get what they want, but eventually their selfish behavior came out and their true nature did aswell.
Brian doesn't need to blame himself for Michael and Lindsay they are adults who knew exactly what they were doing and didn't care who they hurt in the process, just to feed their own selfish interests over and over again.
They Have No Power Here Anymore.

Absolutely LOVED this series! It's rare that I find myself running the emotional gamut with the author. This will go down as one of my all-time favorites!

This was intense, but apparently long overdo. I'm glad they were able to talk so openly. It showed the real growth of their relationship. It still makes me sick thinking what Lindsay, Michael and Ethan put Justin, and in comparison Brian, through.
Sorry to see this series end. But I really am enjoying, 'Consequences', and look very forward to reading more of that story. But thank you for giving this small glimpse of your original story.
XOXO ~ Cathy
