Hey I read the whole story because with the summary I was afraid to see a very bad Brian but it's Brandon! Brian is finally a nice guy. I loved this story with some Brian and Justin dates, It's only anti-Brandon good. Thank you.

I'm glad you took a chance on this story! Brian is always a little bit "bad" but indeed Brandon is the villain in this one. Deep down, Brian is a good guy although he puts on an "Fuck you, kiss my ass" front for his self-preservation. My favorite part of writing this story was definitely the Brian/Justin scenes, that's what we all want to see :D

I'm so happy you enjoyed the story! I really enjoyed writing it, since it was quite different than the previous fics I've written because of the heavy inclusion of villain Brandon along with our boys being younger and in the present day.

The kissing part here was directly inspired by the scene in Cruel Intentions (which this story is shamelessly based on) where Kathryn (Brandon here) teaches innocent, virginal Cecile (Michael here) how to kiss.

Whoa, that was hard; even with his sick mind, Brandon did the right thing and save Justin. Stupid accident that will impact all their young lives. What about his mother? The way she threw him out is one of the reasons he was drunk.

That was a hard chapter, mostly because of the impact that Brandon's sudden death had on Brian. He and Brandon had a rather stormy friendship, but he loved him like a brother regardless. Despite how shitty he was, Brandon managed to die a hero. You can only imagine how Elaine would feel when told about her son's death and what lead to it.

It's always better late than never :) I found it important that the characters be within a few years of each other, all in college or about to start.
I can't see Brian and Michael having sex (unless it's in Michael's dreams, see my "No Degrees of Separation" story, if you dare). Ew, indeed.

I have to admit that I wasn't sad that Brandon died; really, he had to go, one way or another. Brian probably couldn't have lived in peace or kept Justin with Brandon trying to sabotage him at every turn. Brandon did manage to redeem himself a little bit at the end, but his surviving family and the poor bastards he left in his wake will probably remember the bad stuff more than his self-sacrifice.

Whoa! Impressive how Brandon is kicked out of his mom's house. He has no money, no job and no motivation to get one: the next weeks will be tough for him; not that I'm sorry after what he did, yet, it's pretty drastic. He can't help himself and draw the attention on Brian and on his father. He really has no good feelings about the others around him.

Brandon had to learn the hard way that some actions have consequences. He's a grown ass man, he needs to act like one. Elaine showed him tough love. People like Brandon will always try to blame others or use their flaws as a distraction in order to get away with their crimes.
