Very different type of story and I really liked it. We all have songs and performers that affect us. My personal ones are Amazed by Lonestar and movie songs - The Shadow of Your Smile, The Themes from Exodus and The Apartment. A weird grouping for sure, but each gives me a different feeling.

Yes, music is very important and meaningful. Certain songs can trigger things in you. This plot bunny came about when this song came on the radio when I was driving home.

LOL! I laughed aloud at this one primarily because I play 'You Make Me Sick' quite a lot, especially while hitting the heavy bag. It was an absolutely enchanting look into the guilty pleasures of Brian Kinney. I think we can all relate on some level to Brian regarding "Don't Let Me Get Me." It's definitely one of those songs that forces you to think about your life choices, where you are because of them, and then ultimately where you want to be. Will certainly play this song over and over again this week. I've got some self-recriminations to handle and a stronger version of myself to remake.

Haha, I listened to "You Make Me Sick" very often in my last bad relationship. Several of Pink's songs have meaningful lyrics while others are just for fun. Fuckin' Perfect and Family Portrait are pretty deep.
