Wonderful chapter, from Ted and Emmett's 'talk', to Brian surprising Ted and Blake that really says what he thinks of them. A house? God, why can't I have a friend like Brian right now?! LOL! He really is a gem and Ted/Blake honor him by appreciating that, unlike Michael...

And speaking of the IDIOT man... Could he be any more wrong in that moment?! I wanted someone to walk outside, pick up a fire hydrant Incredible Hulk- style, go back in and the smack the F*CK out of him!!!! How inconsiderate and idiotic and...AND!!!!! Not only was he invasive in going through Brian's office to find the bottle of Dewars, but his jealousy was front and center. I'm sure had Justin not shown up, Michael would have been his usual thoughtless, yet half-way angelic-in-front-of-his-blind Mama, self. So since nothing he could possibly say would get Brian to pay attention, let alone disturb him and Justin, he moved on to cause unhappiness for Ted and Blake, specifically because it would have been the most effective. After all, mistery loves company, and God forbid that Michael should suffer ALONE! Ben should throw is ass into a cellar Kathy Bates in Misery-style (yes sledgehammer included) and throw the damn key in the middle of the Ohio River. It's the only way everyone else would be able to restore sanity!

Ted has come a long way due to Brian's influence. Brian appreciates Ted and just wants to show him how much he means to him. We could all use a friend like that sometimes.

The weasel just wants to be the center of attention and if he isn't he will show just how nasty he really is. Since he is barely a thought in the story we didn't want to get into what Ben had to say when they got home. But the weasel probably didn't enjoyed the lecture.

Ted is channeling Brian. First with Em which he handled just right. Husband tops best friend always. Glad Em understood that and accepted it. Then storming over to Brian's in anger before even talking to Blake. All classic Kinney of old moves. Good for him. No more doormat.

Michael is a buffoon.

Yeah, they did it! I always loved them, even at the beginning. I was so happy when they met at the ski lodge especially after Ted's last "boyfriend" who was nuts.

Brian is so in character and so is Micheal.

Congrats on a marvelous beginning to this story. So sad that Emmett channeled his inner-Mikey right when Ted needed his support, as his best friend, the most. I hate that Ted had to be the way he was, but Emmett DESERVED it. I know that it will be hard for some folks to feel that way, but yeah, Emmett deserved the same level of low-blows he threw at Ted to come back and hit him just as hard. Turnabout is fairplay after all. 

As for Michael, I already feel a million 'STFU' moments on the tip of my tongue ready to spew. If memory serves me correctly, this is the direct timeline that will actually tell what Michael was doing to keep Brian and Justin apart in the first few years post-series?

As harsh as it seemed Emmett did deserve what Ted said to him.

As for the weasel; the next chapter advances the story a few years but even then he is not finished with what makes him what he is in our stories.
