Just read the five chapters of this story. I want to commend you on your writing and storytelling abilities. That said...
Michael is a delusional, self-absorbed, evil person. It also sounds like he's been up to some fraudulent activity. How has he managed to get enough money to buy a house in Palm Springs? You do realize how much a house costs there, don't you? I know Brian has probably given him a lot of money over the years, but no where near what it would take to buy a home. once he gives me the $100,000 he owes me for all i’ve done for him... what have you EVER done for Brian but use him and manipulate him into giving you money? How does he think he can persuade Brian to give him that much money? Even Brian isn't that stupid. Nothing Michael has or owns warrants needing that much money in his life. the money in Jenny’s college fund can easily pay for staff to look after us... WHAT THE HELL? How does he even have access to it? Or, has he done the unthinkable and forged signatures to have control over it? He has to be crazy as a loon if he thinks Mel will ever allow him to get close to that money. I don't blame Jenny for not wanting anything to do with Michael. And his attitude with all Jenny's good for in life, leaves something to be desired. Is she really that pretty? How old is she? Glad to see Debbie has taken her blinders off where Michael is concerned.
Lindsay needs an artist... Is Justin a highly sought-after, successful, famous artist? Will she accept the situation between Brian, Justin and Sophia? Or, will she rear her hateful ways and try to sabotage Brian's relationships with them?
I was so happy Brian decided to tell Gus about Sophia and they all met each other. Justin and Sophia should have brought ingredients with them so Sophia could have made dinner. I'm glad they all got along so well. It was really nice to see how readily Brian accepted the situation without proof yet. I think Gus and Sophia will really get along great, and it's nice Sophia already considers Jenny a sister.
But, Michael better watch out. Sophia already has his number. Loved the way she talked to him at dinner. And, so very proud of Brian for allowing Justin to have his say without condemning him. Happy to see Brian realizing Michael was talking like they were a couple. I was absolutely thrilled when Brian gave Michael his smack-down, and how he dropped his bomb about who Justin and Sophia are. Do they have the results of the paternity test yet? How is Michael going to retaliate against Justin, and in turn, Sophia?
Is Brian ready for a relationship? Because, that's inevitable. Poor Michael, his dreams of HEA with Brian will have to be dashed.
I remember when I was reading, 'Home At Last', you mentioned a medical condition you have. Maybe with Fall approaching it will be better for you. Anyway, take care of yourself, and as much as I would like to see frequent updates, also for 'Home At Last', you need to take care of yourself first. So, I'll wait patiently for your updates and I won't abandon reading. Your stories are too good for that.

it may seem like there's no way he could have gotten enough money from brian to fund a house in palm spring but there is so much more to this that what brian or anyone else in the family knows about Michael and his activities. The ways Michael has been getting money gets dark and twisted and if i'm being honest as i've plotted out some future plot points for myself to follow as i continue to write this story i even creeped myself out with it a little bit. In this story I feel like Michael will be darker and more sinister than anything i have read so i hope you enjoy it as it continues.
Jenny is 12 but is quite smart for her age so nothing Michael will do involving her will get past her easily.
I hope autumn will be better for me but with any chronic illness it is completely unpredictable. all i can do is write as much as i can when i can and just hope it's enough for people to enjoy.

Michael is going yo be sorry for bad mouthing both Justin and Sophia. Brian better put an end to all of Michael's dreams and delusions before he leaves Deb's house that night.
Have a strange feeling Lindsay isn't going to be too have with the revelation of exactly who Justin and Sophia are.

His world is to crash down around his ears. Asking Brian for 100k to set up house for them, which is never going to happen, is one thing. Planning on using Jenny's college fund diwn right despicable. I hope when his rights are taken away he gets no access to it.
Gus and Sophia should become inseparable, just like Brian and Justin.
