I cannot believe how addicted I am to this story. It started out so heartbreaking but I trusted you as one of my fav authors and you have definitely delivered. I am seriously hooked on this story and I cannot wait to find out what will happen next.
Oh how I wanted to jump with joy that Brian has finally got Deb worked out for who she truly is and has had Michael arrested.
(That’s how I always felt about Deb in the series- yes she showed people kindness at times, but then she threw it their faces that they owed her for that ‘help’ or act of kindness and therefore had to repay her by doing what she said. It was horrible! Showing an abused teenage Brian some caring and kindness is supposed to be a selfless act of compassion. Not something to hold over his head for the rest of his life- it sickened me every time Deb would say stuff like “after all I did for you, you owe me this!” to Brian. No wonder the poor guy had a messed up view of love and relationships as the only forms of “love” he got came with a huge price tag attached)
I really hope Brian and Justin can now start to get rebuild their relationship, and manage to stand strong together against all the drama that Deb, Michael, Lindsay and Mel will no doubt continue to try to throw at them in the hopes of causing trouble and farthing their own selfish agendas.

I'm glad Brian is finally seeing he doesn't owe Debbie or Michael anything. He needs to concentrate on beating this cancer and rebuilding his family with Justin. Nothing else matters.

Mel Did It Again!!!
She abandoned her child because she wasn't getting what she wanted and left Jenny to suffer.
As usual her feelings were more important than making sure Jenny had a safe haven.
I wonder if Mel ever thought about how Gus feels when she goes on a tirade about Brian and he hears "I Wish Brian Kinney Had Just Died Of A Drug Overdose"?
He had to hear that for years and it had to affect his psyche and hurt his feelings to hear the hatred in Mel's voice whenever Brian was brought up?
Now how does Jenny feel hearing her mom talk about How Worthless Michael is and the way she badmouths her brother's father???
Or how Gus and Jenny feel when they hear Mel, Deb and Michael talk crap about Brian and Justin?
Words can hurt just as much as fist because they leave scars on your heart and soul that may never heal.
Is Mel prepared to sit and listen when its Gus and Jenny's turn to lay down some hard truths??

Hunter wanting Jenny to be with him while the parents start acting like adults is good, she needs to be a normal kid like an adult surrounded by children playing dress up.
Mel may have realized she screwed up but she is still using Brian as a scapegoat for her selfish behavior.
Brian and Justin's marriage is no one else's business and everyone should stay out of it.
Mel should focus on her marriage and relationship with her kids instead of waiting for Brian to screw up so she can look good.
Just makes her look more petty and vindictive every time she opens her mouth.
Surprised it took her this long to figure out Michael was in jail, didn't her umbilical cord pull or rather Nguyen signalling her that Wittle Mikey was in trouble?? <eye roll>
Ms Grass used her old mantra and it finally broke the last hold she had on Brian, so now he can move on without Michael and Deb in his life cause he owes them nothing else Ever Again!!!
So Deb is going to hit up Emmett and Drew for the money right? Their reaction should be funny.

Michael has the money to bail himself out, but of course he wants Brian to come like a good obedient lap dog.

Nice in Mel's quest to get away she made sure Jenny was taken care of <shakes head sadly>
Mel knew Lindsay was getting the money from Brian it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that they never saved anything, because there was always The Bank of Kinney to run to.
They both flitted the money away by using the kids as excuses doesn't change that Mel had her hand in Brian's pocket just as much as Lindsay.
Mel thought her info would finally destroy Brian's chance at happiness too bad as usual she has underestimated the determination of Brian and Justin to repair their marriage and themselves.
Emmett trying to stay out of it will not last much longer.
Just like Deb being quiet (Deb quiet? Did Someone Lose A Bet???) it won't last much longer, especially now that her Wittle Baby has been arrested.
I can't wait for Justin to let his tiger out cause that roar is going to be heard for miles and years to come.
Hope Lindsay has enough stashed away to live on cause 'Peter' is not coming to her rescue anymore.

Interesting and eye opening chapter.
Have to admit, was a bit creeped out at the concept of Ben and what appears to be his manipulations in all this.
Proud of Jenny! good on her standing up for B&J. Gus has also seen beyond the bullshit that his mothers have spouted. Good for him. while there's a way to go for that family, they seem to be well on their way in the healing process
At least B&J have both acknowledged the fact that they don't want a divorce, that they both want to work on their marriage and family dynamics. Justin is justifiably hesitant in totally trusting how Brian will be with Deb and Michael, but I'm confident that Brian will prove himself worthy. Justin as well will prove to Brian that he can communicate and still feel safe.
Can't wait to see what happens with Michael next. Deb too. Justin saying he's no longer going to stay quiet gave me a huge shit eating grin! Ooooooooooooh looking forward to that showdown! lol.
As for Mel....The girl needs couselling! Her over the top reaction towards Brian is beyond stupid. No matter what, she'll find something to blame him for. Even after Ted talking to her with some real truths, and of course Deb adding her 2 cents worth....It's like even if she were to condede to some of his positive actions, the negative gets fed by Deb and Michael. She's going to lose on every scale if she's not careful and doesn't pull her head out of her ass.

Love how Ted is siding with Brian and Justin. Dislike that even knowing the truth Melanie is still trying to get back at Brian. The whole group needs mediation, so Melanie learns just what Ben did and how much Michael has flittered away rather then help JR. And Deb needs to learn the truth too.

Justin did speak up and when he did he was accused of being a bully to Michael and selfish, spiteful and vindictive.
So Justin just tried to avoid Deb, Michael and everyone else as much as he could.
In everyone eyes Justin was just supposed to accept the status quo and bend to Deb and Michael's rule.
Now that Justin and Brian are talking no longer will Justin sit by and let anyone get away with hurting him or his family.
Lindsay thought telling Jenny would help with her lies?
Where did Jenny go?
Mel like her wife, Deb and Michael is delusional she is blaming Brian for being successful and not seeing that her attitude and need to always be right is the reason why she will never succeed even if she never met Brian Kinney.
So Ben thought he was in love with Justin huh?
He like Michael just used Justin to inflate his own ego instead of just walking away from Michael to find his own happiness.
Mel running away again when things don't go her way, she hated Brian but didn't mind the money, and ruining Brian and Justin's relationship won't change the fact that she and Lindsay were over long before Gus came along.
Punishing Brian because you chose to love someone who put you second is not Brian's fault, you chose to stay in this bad situation and decided to make Brian pay for another poor decision, cause like Deb and Michael you feel he owes you.
