Ted is everyone of us who has ever lost at love, it's not that they didn't love you, it's that's you can't believe you were wrong.  He keeps giving Michael his number because he wants to see the man he loved still in their somewhere.  Usually, they aren't because they never existed.   His ease with talking with Justin makes sense.  Justin is the PTSD Whisperer, lol.

Shelly tells off Deb is hysterical.  Throwing a wrench in their program, lovely.

Ted opening up to Justin was pretty amazing. Justin really listened and since he is pretty unbiased in the whole thing, perhaps Ted will actually listen and becoome more comforatable with the others as well as himself.

Likeing the twist here where Michael apparently really doesn't LIKE Brian, but is simply there to be used for what he has, or what he can do for him. Same with Lindsey and Deb. All 3 seem to believe that Brian owes them. Very sad.

Shelly ROCKS! she has  no problems standing up to Deb. I don't think Deb really expected that. That someone had teh audasity to go against her adn her precious boy. Oh the future  confrntations are going to be interesting especially with Justin and Daphne being within the circle now as well.

Praying that Gus is able to come out of this relatively unscathed. He's going through so much and has been so negatively affected. It's heartbreaking. Hopefully Justin as well as Lily will have a positive healling affect on him as well as Brian Ted and Emmett. All of them together will be a force to be reckoned with.

I think Ted will be thinking about things a little differently, which is a good thing.  Lily is a catalyst for change in a good way.

I'm glad Ted felt comfortable enough talking to Justin.  I think this unique little family that they are building are going to make them all strong.

Very heavy emotional story! On each chapter there is something that twists the heart.

Heartbreaking chapter: unfortunately, this is fiction, but it exists in the real life, no matter the social level; like you wrote "they treated him like a puppy that was no longer wanted". I hope you will let us know how Brian was able to win this battle, as I'm sure they fought against him even if they didn't want Gus anymore.

It's great that Gus wants to spend time with Justin and Lily; it's a smooth way to become less dependent on Brian, but he shouldn't become dependent on Justin and/or Lilly instead.

Daphne!! An in house shrink! This us very good for our shell shocked family.  Ted, you poor dear.  Yes we all want the one we love to love us, but there's nothing we can do.  You're worth trying for more happiness.  It doesn't have to be someone else. Start smal. Have a candy bar, just let Michael go.

This is so emotional, you've got us hooked.

I do hope Daphne and Brian can become friends.  They both are obviously going to be in Justin and Lily's lives.  My poor Gus.  I just want to hold him and let him know that all women are not bad.  At least he sees that in Shelly.

You go Daph! She's going to be a huge help too, I can tell. Love how the chapters keep coming, yay Starlight! 

Oh my God, Gus had a great day! I feel for Brian, afraid to leave & not knowing what to do....this is a wonderfully different story, I'm always attracted to mental health/psychological fics, I studied Psychology in college. Loving this!

I'm loving this story.  Justin and Lily are made to be in Gus' life.  Now if we can just get Ted better.

So....is Shelly like a nanny? 

I'm glad they are getting to know each other a bit.  I do hope Justin can help Gus some.  I guess this is a test to see how he behaves without Brian for a little while.

Seems like Justin has a whole new family, not just a new baby. So pleased!

Brian was a rockstar! Ethan was...ugh...no words. I doubt we've seen or heard the last of him. He seemed pretty possessive of Justin still. No worries though. Brian will no doubt let him know his actual place.

While some of Justin's life is terribly sad adn tragic, he's overcome. True strenth of character. His dad's a dick. So sad that Jen and Molly died.
