I agree with you! Debbie was a tough decision for me because I have this love/hate thing going on for her. She's a great woman and supporter of the LGBT community but she can't deal with the truth about her son or herself. In the end we decided for her to pick Michael's side but I hope to write a story in which she won't be on his side.
It's one of the things I love about NCIS: the team is like a family and they look out for each other. Just like the QaF family.

It's great for Gus to live with his dad; Mel doesn't like Brian and it would have been painful for Gus to hear her comments. Brian doesn't like Mel either, but he won't put her down in front of her son.

Mel's still a big part in Gus' life and I think that she finally realized that Brian was never really a threat. Her jealousy was based on Lindsay's manipulations and how she behaved, not Brian. I think it was easier for her to put the blame on Brian instead of Lindsay.

Love the ending and all the great banners for each chapter. Wish you could have expanded on this chapter a little bit. More info on the kitties. The house Justin and Brian would end up in. Michael and his problems with Jenny. Good stuff.

Thank you so much :) We haven't actually started writing it, but we're thinking about doing a sequel. I've been writing down some ideas and need to talk to my team and our beta about those but I think something will follow pretty quickly.
