Love the role playing. Lindsay coming to demand a key as if she's Michael? Mel thinking that maybe Brian would have been a better choice? Wow!

Yes. This was written pre S4 and S5 when I guess I thought it was still possible to rehabilitate the women. So having Linds really stop and "see" the boys' relationship and Mel and Brian reaching a better understanding were ways to explore how that might happen.
