In this story, Brian Kinney is an ad man who for some unknown reason is teaching a one semester class on Graphic Arts in Advertising to PIFA students.  This will be Justin's last class before graduation.  He is attracted to his new teacher, but is unable to get a response from all his flirting.  How is he ever going to get his wish and become teacher's pet? 

I spent my weekend listening to songs, and one in particular...Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' inspired this story.  A line from the song mentions the scars of your love and ends with 'We could have had it all'.  Like with so many other songs, I ended up thinking of Brian and Justin.  In this story, Justin has been in NYC for a year and become a great success in the artistic community.  The only problem is, he misses Brian too much to enjoy all the accolades.  He decides to send Brian a message and hopes to get the response he is praying for.  Will he?  I must thank Judy for her Beta skills and my darling Granddaughter, Marika, for providing the perfect banner to tell the story.  I love you guys dearly.

This is my version of the thoughts that are running through the heads of both Brian and Justin as they stare each other down in the backroom of Babylon in Season 3: Episode 7.  Justin is tricking for the first time after giving the Fiddler his walking papers and Brian spots him there.  Many thanks to Eka for the inspiring banner and Heather for the excellent beta job. 

This is a songfic that was inspired by a wonderful video made by Steph on YouTube so I am dedicating this story to her. She used the song and I couldn't get the image of Brian and Justin as they parted in that final scene of the series when Brian and Justin went their separate ways out of my head. Story #10 of The Sunshine Files

Brian and Justin decide to take a little vacation in a cabin in the woods to get away from it all.  Of course, for them, nothing comes easy.  It's a vacation they'll never forget, even if they'd like to.  Many thanks to Eka for the beautiful banner and Heather for her wonderful beta work.

This story is a prequel gap filler.  It is my version of what Brian and Justin were thinking in the days leading up to that fateful meeting under the street light and what they were thinking when they met.  I want to thank Eka for the lovely banner and Pat for her beta work.

It is the Winter of 1944 in occupied France. The allies have landed and slowly, so slowly, made their attempt to push to the borders of Germany. Sergeant Brian Kinney is too busy trying to keep his men alive and do his duty to worry about anything else, much less a personal life. Everything changes one day when one of his men, recently killed in an ambush, is replaced with a raw new recruit, Private Justin Taylor. The kid looks like he's barely out of High School and totally wet behind the ears. The Sarge is not happy, especially when without warning Sergeant Kinney finds himself fighting a different kind of war than the one on the battlefield.

I am dedicating this story to my late father who served bravely and honorably in WWII and the Vietnam War. I am also dedicating this story to all the GLBT men and women who also served with honor, but in silence throughout history.
