What happens when Justin's need for food, Brian's need for something (but he doesn't know what) and Michael's need for attention clash...

Brian has to repair the cracks in his marriage and with his children, when Michael needs him after Ben dies.

After the first night, Brian didn't take Justin to meet Gus, and Justin didn't show back up but went on with his life.  They meet again when Justin is Jenny's pediatrician.

This is the sequel to Double Trouble and it will help you to understand the characters and their motivations if you've read DT first. Hopefully this one will stand up well on its own. This story picks up four years after DT ends. This time it is Gus and boyfriend Jason who are graduating from college and their sisters who are graduating from high school. The story will look back on the previous four years and then move on to their new lives together. Brian and Justin, still happily married, look with pride on the kids they helped move into adulthood together. This story is set in charming1 and Lorie's "Bittersweet Universe" and is a prequel to Bittersweet Promise. However, this can be read as a stand-alone story.

Present day, post-episode 5.13. Justin has returned to Pittsburgh to build a life and future with Brian. When Daphne asks Justin for a favor, he agrees without realizing the effect it will later have on him, Brian, and their entire family’s lives.

Justin and Brian meet on a vacation. They continue to see each other until Justin gets tired of being a secret and begins to resent the barrier that Brian keeps between them. 

Brian takes the family he made to New York to save them from the family they once believed in. Justin lives in New York and meets Brian in the park.
